Ozen Asian Fusion Cuisine

Although the food is always delicious it is not always delivered on time. I've ordered from Ozen quite a bit but this was my last time. I order hot food as well as sushi. After an hour I called to see where the delivery guy was. I was told, "he left a long time ago he should be there any minute" 15 minutes later my food arrives minus and item. My order was incomplete and the hot food was no longer hot. After having to chase the delivery guy down my stairs he tells me I have to call the restaurant to have the item removed from my bill. So I called and was told that there was nothing they could do because I ordered online and the only option I was given was to have credit at the restaurant. I told them that wasn't an option and I wanted my money back minus part of the tip I prepaid. Needless to say I called seamless and after the rep called the restaurant my order price was adjusted and so was the tip amount. This is the first time an item was missing from an order but this was not the first time the hot food in an order has arrived cold because of the delivery taking longer than they quoted.

I'm so torn. I feel it is the better option of other asian deliveries I've tried, but its a hit or miss. The Drunken noodles are sometimes amazing, and other times soggy and clumpy. The Pad Thai was a joke, no flavor and way over priced. The Sesame chicken was pretty decent but expensive in my opinion. So at the end of the day I will probably order from them again, but it always costs more than for the taste and value.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience because the delivery driver was holding my food hostage for $2 since I asked for extra side of sauce. That experience turned me off from Ozen. Unfortunate because I really like the food :/ I hope they learn that it costs twice as much to gain a new customer than it does to keep a current one. Unfortunate.

Ozen got our order (which we placed thru seamless) wrong - which is not really a problem. They brought us two wrong items, leaving out two items we did order. The problem was that they insisted on taking the incorrect items back. This means that either they just insisted we would get nothing for free OR they reused the item - which is pretty gross, especially considering the incorrect items were packaged with an item we did keep. We were told just to remove the items we had ordered. They took back the rolls we hadn't ordered, and maybe they ended up on your plate.

Quality is very inconsistent. Sometimes the pad siew is AWESOME, but more often than not, there isn't enough sauce and the pasta gets this weird texture. I think I've finally had enough of the gamble, since more often than not I lose. Goodbye, Ozen...

Wow. That Chicken Pad Thai was delicious. I couldn't stop eating it even after I was full.The vegetable Gyoza was very good as well. This totally caught me by surprise......…UPDATE!--I convinced one of my friends Order from ozen by telling him its the best in the neighborhood and I was terrIbly dissapointed. It was a little late and the food was terrible it tasted like old leftovers from a day before. It seemed to me that they didnt want to cook uP new food since i was probably the last order of the day. I foun a piece of plastic in my food but i didnt tell my friend because of how embarrassed I already was for convincing him tO eat this terrible food. This was during finals week in college around 12/22/11 and it was the last time I will ever order from Ozen again. I would not have bothered writing this, but it has been 2 weeks since and I cant seem to forget how terrible my experience was.

Ozen food is good; however, the consistently rude service from delivery people makes this a plain, average delivery choice. Today's disdainful leer from the driver as I asked him to close the gate of my home on leaving made clear to me that rating the delivery poorly was in order.

UPDATE I have to say I gave this place chance after chance and I'm glad I did. I'm now UPGRADing my view of them significantly. The Philadelphia Rolls, which are lox/cream cheese done Sushi style are OUTSTANDING. And I'm allergic to ALL SEAFOOD. The Goyza Pork, not bad just use more pork and cook the dough longer. #112 the Shrimp Fried Rice, A winner 80% of the time. The EGG ROLLS, LARGE AND IN CHARGE, outstanding. Egg Drop Soup is a velvety delight. Add salt, it needs it, if your health allows. It wasn't on the menu but it should be there by now. I'll attribute the first not so hot outcome with the fact that it was nearly midnight. Day is definitely better at this fooderie. ORIG REVIEW Definitely a disappointment. FAST Courteous But when I asked for a side of the CHINESE GREENS I found out it contains no greens whatsoever. The Tempura is not supposed to be still-raw unseasoned batter over a piece of mushroom a piece of sweet potato a slice of plantain a few strings beans and over something like a mush of tasteless shrimp. THAT IS NOT HOW YOU MAKE TEMPURA. Some of the CALAMARI was edible. NONE of the beef Sataya was. The best thing was the tiniest thimble of cucumber salad tucked under the skewers of beef. That was delicious and tasted like it was red bell pepper with minced cucumber soaked in sweet watermelon juice! The one thing that was creative and yummy we got almost none of. That was an interesting dish. Chicken FRIED RICE, drop the green peas please, it was decent. Rice nicely looked but long grain rice is not the Asian rice variety it should be for the dish. The RIBS were beyond dry and tasteless. Didn't know a rib could go that low. The side of sauteed Snow Peas I requested special was simple and hot and decent.

Sometimes the food--especially the pad thai--is really great. The last time I ordered, there were bits of egg shell in the pad thai, and it was much more greasy and less tasty than usual. That said, I've always had good experiences in the past... but it will definitely be awhile before I order from Ozen again.

Great fusion cuisine. Big portions and cheap prices. I only took away a star because the delivery often takes 45-60 minutes, although I am getting it delivered pretty far away.

This place has every type of asian food there is, and its all pretty good. Great soups. The Massaman curry is delicious. Pad thai is a little dry but otherwise great one stop shopping for thai, chinese and japanese.

Probably one of the best delivery options for Asian food. The variety is fantastic and their delivery is reliable and we live in Harlem. Their sushi and their noodles are really good. Yes, they have some "off" nights, but there is always at least one really good dish in our order.

Chinese food used to be my favorite food but I hadn't ordered it in a while because the places that make it (and nothing else) around here are just not good. Ozen Asian Fusion is different. I ordered the sesame tofu which came very hot, looked great and tasted fresh. It was fantastic. I also ordered the cold, sesame noodles which wasn't perfect like the other dish but wasn't terrible either. One thing I really like about this place is that you get rice with every order like at all Chinese restaurants but at this one, you can substitute white for brown which is healthier. This place is great.

I love this place. My wife isn't a big chinese food eater, but even she thinks they have the best General Tso's. I've eaten a lot of General Tso's in my day and Ozen's is by far my favorite. One order easily feeds two+ hungry people, especially with an extra order of rice. Haven't had the sushi, but the beef and broccoli is good as is the pad thai and curry's. Keep it up Ozen!
