Waited 1.5 hours for the food to arrive (after being quoted 45 minutes). When I finally got them on the phone (it was solidly busy for about 30 minutes), they promptly put me on hold. After about 5 minutes on hold they came back on and told me that "someone" had "forgotten" to put our order through. Then the manager got on the phone, repeated what the first guy had told me about our order never being put through, and then asked if we wanted to cancel it or he would charge us half and have the kitchen make it right away, and hopefully the delivery guy would be back soon to get it. Dudes, we are STARVING. So we went with the latter option. Still waiting for our food. If it is cold/gross/wrong, I am never ordering from Papacitos again. I don't even know what we were thinking ordering from there in the first place, as this is not the first time we've had lousy service from them. I'm going back to ordering from Yola's. The food always arrives super fast, and they don't use circus cheese.

Papacitos is emerging as a tale of two restaurants. Less than 6 months ago this was one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in NYC, bar none. Today, well, it's not even the best in north Brooklyn. I don't know exactly what's happened, but they've gone from using nice plastic delivery containers containing elegant tasty portions to smaller, cheap containers overflowing with bland food (note: plan to open your bag near the sink). The posole, once a go to item, is now a stay away. Even the salsa is hit or miss. The apparent lack of quality control, increasingly endemic to the neighborhood, is a shame.

High: My weekly fix for amazing as close to authentic Mexican street food right here in BK! Great neighborhood staple. Been pleased with everything I've tried. :) Low: Could work on double checking their orders being correct and attention to detail.

The guy who delivered what I ordered handed me a bag that was leaking (a perpetual drip) and apparently he didn't notice it. I do not know how the soda can exploded let alone him not realizing it was leaking. I looked in it, and my tacos were destroyed, so I told him I am not accepting it. After he returned with a fresh bag and three tacos in the container, he gave me a snobby attitude like it was a major inconvenience and it really pissed me off. Check the freaking bag next time, dude... The tacos were mushy, falling apart, and probably the worst tacos I have ever eaten. I will never be ordering from this place again, and suggest the Acapulco restaurant on the corner as a GREAT alternative. I think the only thing this place has going for it is its cool name. Other than that, it is overpriced and not worth your time (the tacos at least).

overpriced tacos- beans are bland. delivery takes a while, although it usually is a cute hipster guy which doesn't hurt. the only good part are the margaritas, which they don't deliver. calexico is way better in the area.

Food is pretty good, but the delivery times are terrible. If you're hungry, either order it for pick-up or go with another restaurant - you WILL be waiting for an hour.

Do not get delivery. As other people have said, I waited 1.5 hours for delivery, called and was told it was on its way, then called again and was told that the order was mixed up and had not been put in. They make plenty of mistakes in the restaurant itself, but you're better of going in.

We just got our delivery, The fish tacos were good, but the nachos order was botched. We ordered carne asada nachos, came really soggy, and with no carne asada. Literally none. wont order the nachos ever again.

Delivery is spotty at best, one time they kept saying our order was on the way for about 2 hours. We finally called back and they admitted they never made it so we got it for free. Another time we received chicken in vegetarian tacos. Food is decent but not worth the hassle.
