Everything tasted like it was reheated from frozen or straight out of a jar. And it was ridiculously overpriced. Also, I was supposed to get a vegetable with my tilapia, and, turns out, the vegetable was french fries. Seriously?

The carbonara was bland and beyond mediocre and hardly worth $15.99. It had very little pancetta (Italian bacon) and lacked the creaminess and cheese that I am used to with carbonara. Also, I thought it some of it had an unpleasant aftertaste, not unlike the juice of overcooked brocoli. Otherwise, good "fill up" pasta if you do not object to the price.

I am not one to go to this length to complain. I understand restaurants are sometimes late delivering because they are busy and that sometimes food may not be piping hot, it happens. However, what I received tonight was nothing short of CRAP. I ordered from Pasta Italiano. Here is my order number and time of purchase. Order #327171267 Ordered: 1/16/2013 6:19:00 PM To start with I paid almost $30.00 for this . I thought it was fair with what they offered. It took me until 7:30 to get the order and I had to stay on the phone with the delivery guy for 10 minutes because he couldn't find my address which is on a major neighborhood road in Washington DC. Then, I opened the package. I was given a tiny little piece of fish that was ice cold, so cold in fact that I had to tear of the corners to eat it as they were rock hard and shriveled up. Under this was lettuce that was literally brown and slimy wilted. The "fries" that came with this were about 20 and they were ICE COLD and soggy in the middle. Then, the "spaghetti" was a canister full of ice cold spaghetti noodles and a small cup of Parmesan cheese that was half full. The noodles tasted so bad I had to spit them out, my wife wouldn't even touch them. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT.
