There aren't many Mexican restaurants that I love as much as Patron. Their food is much more authentic to me than some of the establishments close by (which I also enjoy!). The salsa and guacamole alone are amazing. I love the fajitas and tacos. I also often get the quesadilla. Takeout/delivery is great, but sometimes the service in the restaurant is lacking, but never bad.

Eat in or delivery, Patron can't seem to actually produce the food its menu promises. If you like not getting the food you ordered, and then paying for it anyway, Patron is the place for you. Perhaps they should start serving Rocky Mountain Oysters here, because it takes some balls to charge for a dish you ran out of, and an order that was cancelled.

My food was delivered on time, and it was mediocre at best. It gets one star because my food was delivered upside down. All of the enchilada sauce was no longer in the container. When I opened the bag, all of the sauce spilled on me. The most annoying part is that the delivery guy had a smirk on his face, and he handed me my food sideways.

The house specialty pork dishes are outstanding. The guac is among the best in the city. The ceviche is fresh and delicious. Much more sophisticated than typical NYC Mexican, although the fajitas are only OK.
