Peace & Love

Unlike other restaurants on Seamless Web, Peace & Love doesn't call you to tell you when they are out of a key ingredient in a dish, they just leave it out or send a cheap substitute. I called to complain and they promised a refund. We'll see whether that happens.

Love, love, love the food at Peace & Love!! So fresh and delicious! They also make a mean cup of coffee.

I placed an order for pickup to take advantage of SeamlessWeb's pickup paydays promotion. When arriving, I first went to the front/main register but was directed to a register in the back for pickup. I stood there for well over 5 minutes while every employee that came past purposefully avoided making eye contact. Finally someone acknowledged me and said it was on a shelf behind me. Apparently I should have just taken it, because I didn't have to sign anything. For this whole experience alone, I vowed to never do pickup from Peace & Love again. However, when I got my salad (daily special - Shrimp Baja Salad) it was filled with jalape?o peppers, which were not listed in the web menu description. Had I known this, I would have specified they should be left out. Ruined a salad that would have been otherwise very tasty by making it too spicy. (I tried picking them out, but apparently missed a bunch.)

I was actually very disappointed with my last Peace&Love order. I love the cheddar and tomato soup, and I ordered 2 for me and a co-worker. Well apparently they ran out of cheddar and sent over 2 tomato soups without telling. I called to ask if they changed the recipe and was informed that they simply "ran out" and were serving only cheddar. The woman who took my complaint said that my next lunch would be comped. I hope she remembers.

The food here is absolutely fantastic. Great combinations of flavors on the sandwiches with a wonderful multigrain baguette. My soup of the day of Sweet Corn Chowder (with seafood, so not vegetarian) is amazing!! My order came with an unexpected apple. I feel like the food & service are created with the Peace & Love in their title!

I have never had anything less than perfect service at Peace & Love. The food is exceptional, as is the coffee! Salads and sandwiches are marvelous. This last time the food order was a little delayed, and even though it was through no fault of their own (the printer had broken down - I'd ordered online), they showered me with extras at no charge for the inconvenience (which honestly wasn't really very much). Again, service above and beyond!

I found Peace & Love when my DSL went out and I needed an internet cafe. What a lucky accident b/c I had 2 weeks to try all their paninis. They're really delicious, only slightly expensive.

The best food on Seamless Web, period. Try the Roasted Turkey Krabi, and expand through the menu from there. We also love the Amazon salad. Everything about Peace & Love is cheerful, down to the delivery guy.

YUMMM! Got the Virgin Islands sandwich - inhaled it! Delivery - super quick, not even 20 minutes! also loved the mango iced tea - really refreshing and not sweet (which i love) will def order again :)
