Pearls Chinese - Amsterdam Ave

Good food, and they bring it so fast we think they might be psychic! I'd say the food is a step up from other Chinese delivery places like Ollie's, but the menu choices aren't as broad (otherwise I'd order from them all the time).

I ordered the mango shrimp chef's special & gave very specific instructions. The delivery was timely and they delivered exactly the way I wanted it! Portion was great and it was the most delicious/non-greasy takeout chinese I've ever had! Thumbs up!

Sesame chicken is good, however it's about all I get from here. I got another competing chinese restaurant in the area that sweetens the deal with "freebies" (no names).... As for the Beef and Scallops: "Flavor was OK, Small scallops, it was very heavy on the soy sauce.." *dictated but not read*

really bad...I ordered the moo shu pork and it had everything BUT pork! one of the worst chinese take out I've ever tasted. It is very inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for.

This is the type of chinese food that you want to eat when you want good food, not just the cheap place on the corner. Their food is quite excellent, very fresh and light. The tofu soup is one of my favorites. Their pork dumplings are fabulous. Pretty much everything I have tried here has made me quite happy, and I am pretty picky about my Chinese food. It doesn't sit heavy in the stomach, has a very good flavor, and is a great value for the price.

I live two blocks away and used to order from here at least once a week. I dont know what happened but recently the beef dishes I have ordered here have been inedible. :(

Decent. Nothing too special. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. Make sure you pay an extra dollar for all white meat. The broccoli was kind of white though

Delivery guy yelled at me for a hard to find address, despite leaving clear instructions, a cell number, and a nice tip. Wouldn't order from here again.

I used to order from here regularly. It has gotten worse with each passing order. this time my food showed up after over an hour of waiting. best part was it was ice cold, and they sent me the wrong dish. thanks guys.
