Peking Garden (Adams Morgan)

An hour after ordering, they did not have the decency to call and tell me that they were not going to deliver my order because they were busy. I only found out after calling them to check on my order. They were also very rude. I had to call seamless to cancel my order. Do not order from them!!

Not only would mediocre be too generous a description of the food, but the delivery was disorganized and a full HOUR BEYOND the promised window. When I called to inquire as to the delay, the woman who answered said, "he on his way!" and hung up without even asking my name or order. That was 45 minutes before the food arrived. This dive is definitely not ready for primetime, and I recommend disassociation from seamless before it drags down the brand.

I had been looking for a great, quick Chinese cuisine restaurant that delivered for quite some time, since the majority around where I live in Columbia Heights lean towards the carry out, jack of all trade variety of delivery food services. So, I was extremely happy when I found out that Peking Garden in Adams Morgan actually delivered and well into the night as well, a huge bonus. I've tried quite a few different dishes from Peking, all of which came at a great price. The boneless spareribs were great, as was the general tso's, sesame chicken, fried rice, and egg rolls. My only complaint would be the pad thai that they offer. It isn't the worst pad thai I have ever had, but they could definitely benefit from using more sauce and maybe reducing the amount of lime that they use in the dish. But aside from the issues with their pad thai, the service is great and the food always comes quick and hot. I will continue to recommend the Peking Garden as a great, quick fix for Chinese in DC.

A complete failure. My order was fairly large, almost $100, but was delivered 30-45 mins AFTER the estimated delivery time, but three of the 5 entrees were inedible or the restaurant disregarded clear instructions.

This was the worst Chinese food I have had since I moved back to D.C. The ribs were slathered in -- no kidding -- barbecue sauce. The other food was tasteless. They didn't include the extra sauce I requested. There is no way I would ever order from this restaurant again, nor would I allow friends to do so. Maybe, maybe, enemies. I gave it one star because I couldn't give it fewer.

Do not order from this restaurant! The food was over 30 minutes late, cold, and almost inedible. Worst take out I've ever had! Plus, the staff was rude when I called to find out where my order was and when I told them that it was cold.
