Peter's Since 1969 (Brooklyn)

In addition to serving delicious comfort food, Peter's is probably the best value in Williamsburg. Huge portions and fast delivery. Food arrived piping hot and before the stated time. Would give Peter's 5 stars but for the fact that the delivery portions are smaller than eating in.

i miss that i don't live by Peter's anymore. delicious home style cooking. i have had almost every type of meal here- meatloaf and chicken are amazing. sides are awesome. delivery is fast, organized really nicely, everything in its own container and still warm. lunch specials are really good too. only complaint is sometimes they forget the corn bread.

this place is delicious. i love their quarter chicken lunch special and all of their sides are amazing...mac&chz, spinach, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes..you name it! you can never go wrong with Peter's.

Good food, but the sides you get if you do takeout / delivery are disappointingly small compared to the big ones they pile on the plates in the restaurant for the same price. Weird collards... I'm a southerner, and not a fan of how Peter's cooks them.

Food is fantastic, but if you order an extra side prepare to get ripped off completely. $3.50 for a very small side of rice is insane, especially when set in comparison to the 3 healthy sized sides that come with a whole chicken. Peter's you should be ashamed.

There are few delivery options in my neighborhood so I am very happy to find Peter's, it certainly provides a much needed alternative set of menu options. The food was good, I had the sausage and green beans. Good cake too.

The food is good, it's comfort food of course. Delivery usually takes a while, and they don't read the order very well (one time we ordered 5 chicken soups and they only brought 1), so I make sure to itemize out each thing individually instead of just increasing the "quantity" amount. This seems to have solved the missing items problem. Portions are quite generous, definitely fills you up, which is good for a long day at the office.

Super fast delivery. Always consistent and always hits the spot! Not big menu but always good. Don't forget to ask for gravy on mashed potatoes.

Even though they are listed as one of the restaurants that delivers to my building, after I placed my order they called to tell me they would not deliver because I was too far. Reset your delivery zone then! Very poor customer service!

Delivery took over an hour and a half to get here. Food was "meh" with a hint of "blah" and arrived at precisely room temperature. Ordered because DuMont Burger was closed. Next time, I'll just gnaw through some draw wall.

Ordered a bunch of food, Seamless told me that it would take 30-45 minutes to be delivered. Got the confirmation which revised that to 45-60 minutes to deliver. 10 minutes later I get an angry phone call from the delivery guy yelling into the phone that he is downstairs (he didn't bother to ring the bell). I had to rush to put on appropriate clothes to answer the door (I had gotten out of the shower before placing the order). The guy was incredibly rude & he basically threw the bag at me. Quick service is great but please don't inform people that they are going to wait a long time and then get mad at them for not being prepared for you to be there 10 minutes later (note: it took me <1 minute to answer the door) Next problem. I check the order, they forget the chicken, a side order & gravy for the mashed potatoes. I call up, the woman is very nice though she insists the delivery guy put the chicken in there. Regardless, they resend the delivery guy out and he accuses me of stealing chicken! Incredibly rude AGAIN! I spend a lot of money there and they treated me so inappropriately, so I can't justify eating there again.

Meatloaf was actually more like a dried out hamburger patty. No "loaf" about it. Mac 'n cheese was super disappointing, absolutely bland and flavorless. (plus Im of the opinion that a mac 'n cheese should be baked, which I cant imagine this was.) Chicken noodle soup was weak and flavorless. Oh ! and the Sweet potatoes ! Terrible ! They actually tasted like water ! Im a total glutton, yet I didnt finish 1 thing I ordered.
