This is my third time ordering from Pho Viet Huong and two out of the three times I have not been pleased. While the pho is very good (and amazingly priced), I have waited over an hour and a half for delivery each time, which for a place 3 blocks away from my office is ridiculous. The last time I ordered, I had to wait over 2 hours! The pho is very good, but I want to try something new so I ordered a Bam Mei sandwich. The lamb was mostly fat and bone and the entire sandwich came disassembled! I had to put everything together, including CUT THE BREAD! For an extra dollar, i will happily order from some place else. Not worth it.

I had high expectations for this restaurant as it seemed to have some good reviews on Yelp and NY Magazine. Although the food was not bad, it wasn't exceptional and I've certainly had better Vietnamese food. In particular, the pho needed much improvement. I am used to rich, flavorful soup in my pho, but Pho Viet Huong's soup base was very light and clearly MSG-laden. The spring rolls were OK and my Dad makes better ones - and he's Chinese. Overall, I'm glad I was able to order with a discount.

Great inexpensive tasty Vietnamese. I've been coming here for ten years. Don't understand the haters. The pho, chicken and broccoli, and summer rolls are great.

Solid pho and bun. I often order from here, but as the other reviews state, expect a long wait time. I live in Nolita and it usually takes around or over an hour to arrive.

Ordered the Beef Brisket Pho. The meat was mostly fat and gristle, the broth was bland. Honestly, I didn't think it was possible to make Pho this unpalatable.

I don't really have anything to contribute that is different than the other reviews. I ordered 2 extra large pho and the spring rolls at 1:13pm on a Wednesday. The website and email said delivery would be 30-45 minutes. Finally around 2:30 I called to inquire about my food. The person was rude on the phone and said they had left. Finally at 2:45 (an hour and half later) my food arrives. The food itself was ok. The pho came disassembled: broth in one container, beef, (noodles and octopus?) in one container, 3 different sauces in their own containers and bean sprouts in a bag. I suppose this is helpful in a way, but having all this different containers on my desk with my phone ringing and splashing a bit pour something into something else... just a bit messy for me. I guess my overall take is that I may order again, but I'll be sure to order at least an hour before I want to eat.

Delicious food at unbeatable prices -- I recommend the pho and the lemon grass entrees.

The Chicken Pho is always great, but delivery is always at least 15 minutes later than their latest estimate. I order at least an hour before I need to eat and I still end up waiting too long.

I was really nervous when I placed my order after reading so many bad reviews. My order showed up super fast ( 20 minutes), everything was tasty and the portions huge. The Pho wasn't the best I've ever had, but hey... it was 5 bucks. Will order again.

The last two times I ordered from this place they forgot one of the primary ingredients. First, they forgot the bean sprouts, etc. for the pho tai; then they forgot the sauce for the spring rolls. I'm not sure what is going on but they must have a new employee who has no idea what they are doing.

just okay, maybe due to the fact that it was almost an 1.5 hours late. I ordered it and told my roommates I had to go to mid town for a beer with an old friend. Two beers and two cabs later- i got home when the order got there, the soup wasnt even hot anymore. If you love pho, this one is good but basic. The broth does not really stand out with flavor.
