Piccolo Cafe, Panini & Gourmet

Is 0 Stars an option? Twice we have been disappointed by Piccolo cafe. The lasagna Bolognese tasted like paper mache and the ravioli was oily and sub par. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...Well your never gonna fool me again.

My order was quoted as taking between 30-45min and it ended up taking 90min. To be fair, the woman who answered the phone was very kind, but when my food FINALLY arrived my salame panini was COVERED in mayo. It was vile and inedible. I've never ordered an Italian panini that arrived oozing with mayo. I had to throw it away.

We order Spaghetti with meatballs and Lasagna. The spaghetti was equivalent to a can of cold Spaghetti O's. The sauce was pretty much just ketchup mixed with water. For an "Italian" option it was not very good. The spaghetti noodles were lo mein, they were over cooked, and just plain gross. My boyfriend, who will eat just about ANYTHING, had to spit it out. I do not recommend the pasta.

Fettuccine bolognese was horrible. The meat was stinky and the sauce was nothing but greasy. Delivery was fast.

I usually love this place and frequent it at work at the 40th Street location. Thought I would treat myself to pasta tonight and ordered the fettuccine with bolognese sauce. Unfortunately it was inedible, no flavor and covered in oil. Very disappointing.

This food was so horrible. I would never order from it again. It looked like the egg was poured out of a carton and then hardened. I threw out all the meat.

the food FINALLY arrived after about 90 minutes...and they even FORGOT include the lemon soda that I had ordered AND paid for...when I called them to point out their mistake, they said they'd send the delivery guy with my drink...I've waited 2 hours and still haven't gotten my drink. NEVER ordering again. OH and my food was soaking wet...disgusting.

1 1/2 hours later and no food. I just called and they said it coincidentally went out right when I called. This place got great reviews so I might give it another chance if the food is good. But right now there are far better places with solid, inexpensive food that doesn't blow their delivery time by 45 minutes.

I ordered one item and they delievered something completely different. They offered no effort to rectify order, despite the item I ordered being more expensive. The food I received came in small portions and the tomato basil sauce was average.

As good as the food is supposed to be here the delivery is a joke. I have been waiting over an hour and a half and when an attempt to call the place was made the phone rang without being answered. Very upset.

The food is really good, the delivery timely. The one negative thing I have to say is that the prosciutto sandwich was a little lacking in the prosciutto department, not in terms of quality, but rather quantity. Very delicate, but two-paper thin slices on a 2 1/2" thick piece of bread really doesn't cut it.
