Pinche Taqueria (Lafayette)

One of my favorite Seamless discoveries has tanked so much in the past few weeks, I'm here contradicting my own praise. First, an order placed at 9pm on a Sunday, appeared to vanish into the Pinche ether, even though a confirmation email was sent out. A phone call to them from both myself and Seamless went nowhere, and I went to bed hungry. Yesterday, I gave them another chance, and a note for some extra cheese on my food was interpreted to mean remove all cheese. Add these to back-to-back misfires, a missing soda here, a delivery that seemed to be carried upside-down, or a wrong item there over the past few months, and I'm left to wonder what happened to one of my favorite places. I'd love to see Seamless implement a system of penalizing a restaurant for multiple bad reviews in a short period of time.

The food here is amazing. The Fish burrito is great, their Pinche Taco Salad is delicious. Highly recommend.

HANDS DOWN best taco salad that I have had in this city. Get the Pinche Taco Salad, it comes in the tortilla shell. The Cilantro dressing is the best too but honestly, you don't even need dressing because its saturated in all the favorite - guac, sour cream and beans.

Food was amazing. Pinche never disappoints. I order from here all the time when I can't make it to their store. The delivery was quick and the food was kept in good condition. They take care to not destroy your food when they are delivering.

The california bean and cheese is delicious and accurately named. elote never disappoints and delivery is always quick and friendly. The chicken tacos I've had are good too, a little spicy tho.

Messed up the order. Forgot the rice, messed up toppings (the toppings problem happens often when I order from here). The food is good, but regularly botches requests.

This order took over 2 hours to arrive. I called 3 times - they promised me they'd credit me the order, and never did. When it finally did arrive, not all the items were there.

After an hour of not receiving my food, I called back to let them know I hadn't received it. They told me the food would be remade and I could expect it in 15 minutes. Another hour went by and I still hadn't received my food, so I called back and they had no idea where the order was. Finally just told the man to cancel my order and refund my money. Never received an apology or any sort of explanation as to why I never received my food.

Forgot part of my order, and what was delivered was a mess, like the container had been dropped...brushed me off when I called about, but said he'd call me back once the delivery guy got back. Never called me back...

Food just arrived and it was the wrong order- although with the correct receipt and item list. But none of my food was there, clearly a mix-up. When I called to correct the order I was told that they are too busy tonight, can I just forget the order and they'll give me store credit. When I told them i didn't mind waiting a bit longer the girl told me what I should do is, contact the Mott street restaurant and re-order with them. ?? Lets see what happens. Customer service: not so great.

Menu is kind of hit or miss but they do deliver the correct order quickly. I've enjoyed the shrimp tacos and burrito on a few occasions. The chicken quesadilla left my fingers dripping with grease and also tasted greasy on the inside - I've only tried it once, maybe they just had an off day. From here on I'm sticking to the tacos.

Pretty damn tasty. Fish tacos are amazing & juicy. Don't order any add-ons (sour cream, guac, etc.) unless you really have to have them. Prices start to add up & these tacos really don't need anything more. & this is coming from someone who always has to have those extras. Yummy!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Ordered our food 3 hours in advance and it still came over an hour late with no apologies. Staff was rude each of the 3 times I had to call. Delivery guy was a jerk. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.
