I had a perfectly fine experience with the Pita Grill. The food was good and warm, and although the food came at the very end of the estimated delivery time I feel 40 minutes is an acceptable time to wait for food being delivered to me almost four avenue blocks away.

Chicken pita was cold, dry, and boring. "Roasted garlic sauce" is sour cream with some flavorless garlic (not sure how that works) in it.

When I received my chicken gyro platter, I was upset. It was tossed together like a salad. I was looking forward to dipping their stale pita bread into their bland hummus - PROBLEM - it was full of chicken and lettuce pieces. I suggest you order elsewhere.

I usually like Pita Grill and order from them often. But today my order took almost an hour an a half to arrive and by that point my salad was gross and soggy. Did not satisfy my growling stomach. I don't usually write bad reviews, but today Pita Grill needs one. Get it together.

I was really disappointed the last time I ordered from Pita Grill. I usually opt for the falafel and humus platter, and it's typically very filling, very tasty, and delivered quickly. This last time it took an hour, and when it finally got here, it looked like the order had been dropped a few times on the way. There was hummus all over the place, and I was just really, really disappointed, especially considering how much this place charges.

I don't think i'd order from here again. The fire roasted vegetables were cold and limp, and didn't taste 'basil rubbed' like in the description. The Chicken Gyro Pita was so-so, but it was stuffed with mostly iceberg lettuce, also a little wilty, and it just tasted bland. I also ordered one falafel- it was the size of a marble and cold, and definitely not work $1.25. The whole order was cold and it took longer than the quote on their menu page.

Dry Chicken Pita. The hummus is bland, boring... pita bread is meh. The sandwich wasn't warm when it was delivered but I'm not sure if it started out warm or not. The icing on the cake: the ladybug I found in my pita.

Terrible. Had a lamb gyro pita. Store bought pita, crappy meat and vegetables. Expensive and bad.

This Pita Grill is WAY below the standards of the others in NYC. They need to step it up as they are giving the Pita Grill a bad name. If you can order from another Pita Grill you should as this one sucks.

The food is good, which is the only reason it gets 2 starts. I ordered from here & was told 20-35 minutes--awesome, super fast. My food didn't come for an hour, I called the restaurant to see where it was and they couldn't find the order. It finally arrived but I had to leave for a meeting.

This is my first review. The Food is excellent, probably a 4 , but the reason why I'm giving it a one is because of their delivery time. They routinely confirm the order, and promise a delivery within 20 to 35 minutes, yet routinely my order arrives an hour, to an hour and a half after the promised time. I'm disappointed, and while I love the food for lunch, I will not be ordering from them again.
