Pita Press is the place to go when you want to feel good about what you eat and still feel like you are treating yourself. The salads are always fresh and the delivery quick. The fritters with feta are the best I have eaten.

Pita Press is consistently a great choice when you don't want to feel too weighed down but still want to be satisfied. We usually order one of the platters, either the lamb or chicken souvlaki platter and the zucchini feta fritters. Platters: you get a ton of food for $9. The chicken is always nicely charred and moist inside; it comes with a generous salad of tomatos and cucumber, TONS of grilled (but still soft) pita sections, and a heap of tzaziki. I am a huge fan of their tzaziki too; it's not too thick but still has substance, and, unlike other tzaziki I've had, it's actually flavorful and isn't just yogurt mixed with cucumber. The lamb platter is very good as well. As with the chicken, they give you a lot of meat, and I am always satisfied. You also get a choice of side with these. I am partial to the greek fries (just ask for them extra crispy or they will be limp) or the brown rice. Fritters: these are AMAZING. They have a fantastic zing because of the feta and I can't get enough. They give you 3 good-sized fritters for five bucks, with a nice tomato cucumber salad to boot. The delivery is always always prompt; a big plus in my book. Overall you get a lot for your money here. Highly recommended.

Ignore the terrible name-- this isn't another forgettable falafel joint. Pita press is top-notch greek food. I recommend the chicken souvlaki or rotisserie sliced pork over the rotisserie lamb/beef. For sides, the lemon potatoes and beans are excellent, and their whole wheat pitas are amazing. Really a fantastic addition to the FiDi!

Pita Press has been my go-to lunch spot since they opened. The food is amazing. The service is quick and friendly. I am so excited to see them on Seamless finally.

Almost everything I've ordered from here (with two exceptions I'll make below) has been excellent. I particularly enjoy the Fava Bean Dip, Spicy Feta Dip, and Giant Beans and can devour those any time. The Zucchini Fritter things they put on the Vegetarian Pita are really good when combined with the feta and giant beans. The Tzatziki is good but I've had better -- this one tends to be very yogurt-like with not quite enough garlic for my tastes, so some appreciate the freshness while I would prefer a stronger flavor. Delivery was also quick and without issues. A very picky family member loved her Horiatiki with Souvlaki Chicken so much she even ate leftovers, and I can't remember the last time she did that. The two things I wasn't a fan of at all were the Melitzanosalata and the Zesty Greek Salsa. Both were very bland and I wouldn't order them again. Those two things aside, I love the food here and everybody I have introduced to the restaurant also ends up ordering again and again. This is a must try for FiDi if you like Greek/Mediterranean food.

I actually do like this place but there prices on seamless are entirely different from their prices in there store. You should call them and order because you will save a ton of money!! I just don't think it's right that they have significantly higher prices on seamless in comparison to their store.

Food was decent, but order took over an hour to show up - seriously? to make a simple pita/platter with food already pre-made and delivery it 6 blocks?? If you are home with nothing better to do except wait, go ahead and order from here. I would suggest putting no tip and tip the delivery guy in cash according to how long you have to wait.

I'm kind of obsessed with this place and by kind of, I mean very. The gigante beans are amaze, cucumber salad and tzatziki is so so so good and I could literally eat the tomato mint and zucchini and feta fritters every day if they weren't fried. I have been ordering from here like 3 nights a week, such good value and delicious food!

Just discovered this gem about a month ago, and have already ordered at least 5 times!! I'm vegetarian , and love the mint tomato fritters and faves bean dip!!! All of my orders have been timely and correct, fresh, and consistent! I'll definitely keep ordering.
