Pizza D'Oro

Solid delivery pizza, probably my favorite in DC (for delivery only!). Tough to find a good slice in the district in general but this beats out other delivery options.

Do not waste your time with this place. In my order, I typed in my cross streets, and the driver still got lost. He called my phone three times. He even had a GPS. Um, really? Plus, the pizza arrived room temperature and wasn't even that good. I am constantly amazed at the delivery times online that claim to be 30-45 minutes—every spot I have ordered from takes an hour or more. Every single time. It's OK if you say it takes an hour, Seamless. At least you are being honest. If you can, order from Bestoli's. It's the best pizza I hve had delivered to me in DC and takes the usual hour.

This is one of my go-to pizza places for delivery. When ordering on the phone, the employee's are always friendly and coherent. The pizza are decent, the best I have had in the general vicinity for delivery. The salads and dressing are pretty good too. I order the calzones from time to time and they are enough for 2 meals. Mozzarella sticks are worth getting - crunchy and salty! I have ordered a sandwich/fries from here once. it was okay, but delivery sandwiches, and especially delivery fries, are hardly ever worthwhile. All in all, this is one of the best pizza places to order from in the U Street area.

My normal go to place for pizza, salad and spaghetti-All the pizzas give you what you want-best spaghetti take out i have experienced in the DC area-although have not tried many. Salads good-i order several for the week-good service-quick-chicken wings ok-overall you will not go wrong.

This place is OK, I have definitely had better pizza though. I have heard that this place compares to New York Style Pizza. I wouldn't make that comparison, the crust isn't even close. The crust is more like the crust from the pan pizza from Pizza Hut, not that that's a bad thing. It gets the job done and is better than a lot of other places that serve greasy delivery pizza, but is by no means great. If you are looking for a decent greasy pizza for cheap, this works.

Yummy! I had a chicken cutlet sandwich and fries delivered, both of which were really good. The fries were well seasoned and really crispy (just the way I like them). The sandwich was exactly as I ordered it and was tasty. The food was delivered in a timely manner and was hot when it got here. Definitely my new go-to delivery spot.

Do NOT order delivery from this place. Food might be OK in the restaurant, but it took the driver 45 mins. to deliver after he left the restaurant. The salad (nothing but lettuce & onions), salad dressing, & tartar sauce were packed w/the hot crab cakes. By the time the food arrived, the lettuce was wilted & the things that were supposed to be hot were lukewarm & the things that were supposed to be cold were lukewarm. The crab cakes tasted good, but I'll *never* get anything delivered from here again.

The Traditional Calzone was fantastic. I did mushrooms instead of ham and was really pleased. The Poppers weren't good, but the Meatball Sub was okay enough. I would order again just for the calzone
