Pizza Rustica

I love Pizza Rustica. Their delivery is ALWAYS super quick (I do live in the relative neighborhood though) and the food is always, ALWAYS good. It's so inexpensive for New York City and I've never had a bad meal there. Their Eggplant pizza is my favorite slice in New York and their Shrimp Parm entree is beyond killer. I love this place.

Pizzas are very good with lots of toppings. I love the Lasagna and the white pizzas. Quick delivery and always hot.

Pizza was not warm when it got to site. My students liked the pizza but they are not as picky as I am. Cannoli's did not taste fresh.

i order a six slice pizza and it took them 1 hour and 27 minutes to deliver. not only that........... it was COLD and hard as a rockkkkkk.

Ordered lasagna pizza. It was Ok. nothing to write home about like Wi-pie's lasagna pizza. Definitely good deal for the price though. $5+ cheaper than lasagna pie anywhere else. More likely to order from here again if i have another coupon code.

I like the buffet lunch specials -- choose an entree, up to 2 pastas/rice and 2 vegetables (the vegetables are the best part). The pizza is good, cold sandwiches/panini are huge. I like the mozzarella /prosciutto. I'm not crazy about any of their chicken breast dishes. Delivery is quick.

We ordered from this restaurant often. The last time we ordered here, the food took over an hour and 15 minutes to get delivered. The food obviously was siting out for a long period of time. When I called, the woman who answered said they didn't have any control because they didn't have enough people to deliver the food. I was very disappointed they didn't do anything to remedy the situation (i.e money back or a coupon). We decided to give Rustica a break. Tonight we ordered here for the first time in ages. Under the prix-fix dinner it says that you get a soup, salad, dinner, vegetable and pasta. They didn't deliver the salad. When called, they said it was a mistake on the menu. At first the woman was unwilling to send the salad. After explaining to her my disappointment she said that she would deliver the small house salad, but I would have to give the soup back. No thanks.

One of the worst, most tasteless chicken parm heros I have ever had. How do you mess that up? Maybe I should stick to the pizza joints in Brooklyn....

Food arrived in 15 minutes, which is normally a good thing... However not when the calzone is cold in the middle and the chicken wings are not cooked through. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that wings are not done when the skin is still rubbery and not crisp.... Funny part is I asked for the wings "extra crispy" on my order. Clearly they rushed the order to send it with another delivery... Maybe they should think twice about doing that before they give someone salmonella!

It's been over an hour and I still haven't received my order. Plus, I called the restaurant, and the woman who picked up the phone was incredibly rude. Don't even care what the food tastes like at this point.

Ordered a meatball and cheese calzone, which was very fresh, with a nice dough. Also ordered a veal scallopine and cheese sub. Excellent, with a nice lemony sauce and spread of mushrooms and peppers. Top notch for this area. . .
