The pizza here is excellent but am only giving them 4 stars because it takes over 45 minutes each time and we live a block away! It's a much better experience just eating in the restaurant.

The pizza was average. perfectly alright but definitely not worth the money. plus I live 3 blocks away and it still arrived almost an hour later then they said it would be, and the pizza was smashed up and turned over on its side in the box.

This pizza is REALLY, really good. I grew up on the lower East Side with pizza at places like Lanza, and another that was on First Ave near 10th Street. While Pizzarte's pies are on the small side, they are reminiscent of the pizza I used to love and have found hard to replicate. But then, nothing is ever as we fondly remember. The ingredients are fresh (cheese, garlic) and the crust is just puffy enough. Ido like mine a little charred on the bottom, but I guess that's something I can ask for. Delivery was prompt and my reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is that the pizza should have been hotter - I only live a few buildings down from the restaurant itself. Otherwise, I am definitely a repeat customer. Compared to others I've had, although a bit on the expensive side, it's worth it. You get what you pay for.

Perfect pizza. Arrived hot. Impeccably made, neapolitan style, good ingredients. Wood oven. Best delivered pizza I ever tasted in New York City. Can't wait to try it at their place.

Good flavor... my pizza came with the cheese in the box (ie...not on the pizza) and looked almost inedible... thankfully it tasted good

Ordered a Coke for 3 Dollars and all I got was a little tiny 8 FLOZ (237ml) bottle of Coke...for 3 Dollars? Feel mugged! NEVER AGAIN!!

Nowhere could I find that the pizza was a 12-inch pie? For $16 ($19.60 including tax and tip) this was basically a personal pizza with 4-small slices. No way 2-people could share and not still be hungry. Also, the delivery person did not hold the box right and the was a puddle of cheese off to the side and a greasy bottom of the box. The quality was OK (hard to fully gage with half the cheese having slid off), just a real bad value for the price when one would assume they were getting a full size pizza!
