Ponte's Restaurant

Food came 15 minutes after estimate. I got a meatball sub and a chopped salad. Chopped salad was 15 bucks and all it was was chopped up spring mix, with a few slivers of cucumber and some cherry tomatoes. I called the restaurant to make sure I got the right salad. No answer the first time, 4 minute hold when I finally got them the second. Apparently, they think charging 7 dollars more for the chopped up version of the house salad is fair. Balsamic vinaigrette dressing was the consistency of mayo with a dark brown color, and not so good. Meatball sub had potential, but there wasn't enough sauce and it was bland and uninspired. Def order an extra side of sauce if you order the meatball sub. I won't be ordering from here again.

Delivery time was good, the food was hot, and the salad was very fresh. I was a bit disappointed in the angry lobster roll though. I ordered it after I read another review suggesting it. There were big chunks of lobster, which was great, but it was overcooked and the sandwich was dry. The pita it was wrapped in was also covered in grease.

Pizza arrived hot, fresh and quickly. The margherita was great, perfect lunch portion for one (very hungry) person. Will definitely order again.

Incredible customer service. Ordered a sausage pizza, but was delivered a plain cheese. Would normally not say anything, but the toppings were 4 dollars extra. We called up and they delievered our correct order in about 8 minutes. Unreal! Mistakes happen and they handled it perfectly. tasty too.

I've eaten here many times and I've always enjoyed the spectacular view, service and food. I was very pleasantly surprised to see how well they've transitioned to on-line delivery. The confirmation and delivery was very fast. (faster than stated.) The food was hot and carefully packaged. They took a signature dish, the angry lobster, and adapted it for delivery - the angry lobster roll. Highly recommended! Fresh caesar salad greens, really nice sauce with the arancini and home-made potato chips. I can't wait to try more of their unique and classic antipasti and sandwiches.
