Qi (43rd St)

Food is always good here, great deals too, I order lunch for pickup periodically and would recommend Qi to dine in or to pick up from. This order is the only negative experience i've ever had. The food was perfect, nothing wrong there, but it took more than an hour for an order of pad thai to be picked up. I assume the order got mixed up or something because it was pretty dead in the restaurant as I sat at the bar playing with my phone. To their credit, all of my other orders have been timely.

Working in the heart of Tourist Central, it becomes exceedingly difficult to find a place to order from that 1) I can pick up without trying to murder a tourist, 2) you can pay less than $15, and 3) has decent food. Qi magically has satisfied all three requirements, which makes it my new favorite lunch/dinner spot. I had the basil noodle tofu, which is a medium soft firmness (none of that extra firm rubber tofu!) with just the right amount of heat. With lunch specials ranging from $8 to $10, or $13 if you want Pichet's picks, its really hard to go wrong. Everything on the menu looked great. You get an appetizer and entree and can add a thai iced tea for $1.50. Watch the spicy noodles though - they do pack a punch! Note that the lunch hour is very rushed and the estimated time is only a suggestion. I ordered my food and the email told me 45 minutes, which I confirmed with Qi. My food was sitting out for at least 10 minutes, by which my spring rolls were soggy through. :( 3 for customer service.

This was the fastest delivery ever! My lunch arrived piping hot and it was delicious. I would definitely order from Qi again.

Lunch delivery is VERY slow (stated delivery time was 30-45mins and still no food after more than a hour). Qi is also not very helpful when you call them for update on delivery status - will put you on hold for 10 minutes+ and switch the phone on and off 5 times and still NO UPDATE!! and they HANG UP on me! It's rather fruastrating - will not order from Qi again. I haven't gotten the food delivery yet - so cannot comment on how the food is

The food is delicious, I order from Qi a least once a month. They need to improve their delivery service. My orders always arrive an hour after I place them, and the food is warm at best.

We decided to try something new and discovered Qi. Excellent choice! They delivered the food ahead of the scheduled time, hot and fresh. The quality was great; we ordered the pineapple fried rice. It even came with a little lime wedge on the side. I'll definitely order from this place again.

Delicious but horrendously expensive. The price is a bit more justified by actually dining at the restaurant because of the nice decor and the sexy waitresses in tight black dresses. Eating take-out from Qi while staring blankly at my cubicle wall: not so worth it.

Most other Thai food has really gone down hill in the last 10 years, tasting more like Chinese take-out at higher prices. Qi has both an elegant location and great food. This has become my favorite Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. We order 2-3 times a week!

I ordered the green papaya salad tonight for dinner asked for it to be spicy. It was the blandest papaya salad I've ever had. Zero flavor. No lime juice, no heat. Big waste of money.

Food was an hour and 20 minutes late. Delivery guy called to say he was in the lobby, but he didn't show up until 45 minutes afterwards and 3 phone calls to the restaurant. Never ordering from here again.

I had the sesame/garlic chicken and veggie saute. The flavor was ok but the portion was pretty small for the price and the chicken was totally dry. Delivery was exactly 60minutes, at the high end of their window (45-60).
