My very FIRST order at Regional was Today,(JAN 30, 2010) a PICK UP order. To be fair, this review will be MOSTLY based on the item I ordered,(POLLO ALLE MELANZANE(Sicilia). The SERVICE for PICK UP orders from 0-5 stars is: 1.5 STARS. The person who greated me at the door, was NOT interested in being the LEAST COURTEOUS. The order was to be ready in 25 mins. I got there 10 minutes late, and still had to wait another 7 mins. Now the most important, THE FOOD. Perhaps other items on the menu taste good, however, the "chicken", as the workers say, was NOTHING SPECIAL. AT ALL. 2Stars. , I don't eat much the PORTION was SMALL for me, 1 Star. Presentation: 0 Star, that dish looked like it was droped 100 times over. I don't believe I will be ordering from REGIONAL again...

OMG do not do this! I am so horrified by what I just attempted to eat from here. I ordered the ravioli con fonduta al formaggio and the second it arrived I thought the whole order smelled like gasoline. They didn't make any attempt to keep the sauce in the container so it was also wet in the bag smelling horrible. Then it was cold and I said I would still try it... after heating it up and taking a bite I was nauseated. This dish is disgusting, under cooked and I would even allege thrown together sloppily from pre-frozen ingredients if the entire raviolis aren't pre-frozen together. I REPEAT. DO NOT DO THIS. I got a refund and I NEVER do that.

They called to tell me they were out of what I ordered and then told me I had to call Seamless to get my credit card. "That's really the customer's responsibility," said the manager, Shiane, in the rudest tone imaginable. Then she hung up on me. I called back and she proceeded to hang up on me again. Then I had to call Seamless to get my refund.... Annoyed that I have to give one star in order to post this review. They deserve zero.

I really like this place, but they recently changed their menu and took the BEST item off - broccoli rabe, sausage & pasta. Honestly, i order a lot less from here now. I hope they are reading this and put that dish back on the menu! PLEASE! 11/18/12 UPDATE: They added back the pasta I loved and I was so excited to order it. All I can say is GROSS, GROSS. Even I could have made a dish better than that and that's an insult. I'm so disappointed. I actually think that was the worst dish of pasta I've ever purchased. VERY little sausage, very soggy broccoli rabe, a sauce that tasted like a simple water and cornstarch mix and NO flavor whatsoever. What a huge disappointment.

Ordered at 7:46. Food still isn't here at 8:55. I expect a decent restaurant to take a while for delivery, but in Manhattan it's hard to stay in business no matter how good your food is if you take over an hour for delivery. And the food is good, but not THAT good. When I called, he said it "should be there any second." We're at an hour and 15 minutes now. Update: After two hours, still no food. When we called, they said "It's in the kitchen now-- be there soon." We asked them for a refund. This is ridiculous. They should be out of business.

Normally, the food is a 4 and the service is a 5. Tonight, both were a 2. Sadly it took over the estimated time for my food to arrive, when it arrived it was luke warm and when I called to inquire about the status of my food, I was told that all seamless orders left "a while ago." No one offered to make it right, basically said they were sorry and it was on its way. Delivery guy showed up with my order, plus two others dangling around his arm - no bag to keep the food warm. I feel bad for whoever got their delivery after mine. I am going to chalk it up to a rough night and hope that I'll go there again in the future. The tonnarelli is really good.

Some of the only non-pizza Italian in the neighborhood, but overly rude service and exceptionally long wait for delivery (if your food comes at all) makes it just not worth it.

honestly, the food tasted like it was prepared with bad water. i tried to get beyond it but when you order risotto and brocolli rabe and both taste like they were prepared with water that doesn't taste fresh it's hard. the salad was fine (with apples and ricotta) but nothing remarkable. a little too dull. don't even bother ordering a fountain soda. for $3, you get a small soup-to-go cup filled halfway with ice.

I was apprehensive to order from here due to the poor reviews but my first delivery order was fantastic, ditto for the second and third. Perhaps the owners read the bad feedback because my deliveries arrives in a timely fashion (knock on wood).

menu is wrong. ordered Pollo Alle Melanzane under secondi which says it comes with side of potatoes and vegetables. food was delivered without the sides and when we called they said they haven't updated the menu. otherwise food was very good . I would give 4 stars if the menu was right
