this was hands down the worst meal I had in 10 years! Nothing was delivered correctly, fries were VERY soggy, grilled cheese cold and milkshake melted.......stay away from Ritz diner

Ritz Diner offers consistently quick, friendly and fast food. I ordered from this restaurant strictly based on the fact that they offer a burger with bleu cheese. Moving from Colorado recently, I was missing the homebody food available there, hoping for something equivalent. Ritz Diner has been reliable and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

On Seamless Web, Ritz Diner said the food would take 15-20 minutes to arrive. It took 75 minutes and the restaurant was unapologetic. Food was okay, but because of the service I will not order from here again.

I've ordered from Ritz a few times now, but highly disappointed that last two. Last week, I ordered and it took 2.5 hrs to deliver my food. I called an hour in and was told they were on their way. I called back 30 min after that and they hung up on me. Third try, I was told that they never received my order, and would send it over in 20 min (add one more full hour at this point). I think I waited because it would have taken longer for me to order somewhere else, so I took my chances. I was told they would take care of me with a discount. 2.5 hours total, they dropped off my order with a discount of 60 cents. Due to a surgery I recently had, I can eat very little, but one item on their menu works well for me. So, I ordered again tonight. My food got here cold, though in a timely manner, and they also didn't add the add ons I included and paid for with my meal. This is a typical diner, overpriced, and not worth the hassle. Go some place else.

Food is typical for diner. Nothing special. Delivery was sooooooooooooo slow (an hour and I am 5 blocks away). The fries were good, but so cold by the time they got to my door. So, I will give only 2 stars. Sorry Ritz, I know will think twice before ordering.

Never received my food. Called the place three times, each time I was assured that the delivery would be here in less than 5 minutes. My more seasoned colleagues later informed me that this is common for RItz. AVOID!

Just Don't!! Rude, bad service, overpriced... Rare for a diner to be bad but this one is!

The food here is very good. I can't comment on the delivery times since I live close by. I have tried everything from the breakfast sandwiches to the burgers and salads. Nearly every time the food is really good. We ordered a salad once and it didn't come with grape leaves as mentioned on the menu. It is a little pricier than some of the other diners but worth it in my opinion!

I've ordered from this restaurant a twice... Regardless of the quality of food, which was cold by the time it got to me BOTH times, I must say that the service and delivery time of this restaurant is ridiculous. If you can afford to wait over 1 hour or so for your food- go for it. If not, there are many other great diners on this site that will give you the food you ask for, in a timely manner. Last time it was 45 minutes late and most recently, 1.5 hours late. Ridiculous.

An all-around A++ diner that pushes all the right comfort food buttons and the best burger combo meals in the city. I've been in NYC for over a decade and tried a ton of diners and comfort food joints but they can never quite satisfy me the way Ritz always seems to. Every burger deluxe at any other place inevitably disappoints me. The crispy fries that are included with every burger deluxe will spoil you and make you feel like any other fries are dull and tasteless. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable. And to top it off they're open 24 hours. Also, try the haagan daaz shakes. They're amazing.
