Rocky's Pizzeria

Despite having two pizzerias within one block of my apartment, I order from Rocky's which is 8 blocks away because it's simply the best around. Delivery is always fast and the pie arrives hot. And when I order extra cheese, they aren't stingy. Rocky's will continue to be my favorite pizza for delivery and eat in.

Rocky's used to be my go to pizza place. For the last six months, the quality of the food has started to decline. The pizza was only ok, the cheese was not cooked enough and had barely melted. Also, buyer beware. Seamless Web claims you receive 5 garlic knots for $2. When I got home, I learned that I only had received three garlic knots. It was a very disappointing and overpriced meal.

I've had so-so experiences with their delivery service before, but the quality of the pizza usually overcomes those issues. This time I am so mad I will never order from them again. I ordered a pretty simple order via seamless web, a small 16" Lasagne Pizza, and a order of Calamari with a special request for TWO cups of additional Marinara sauce as they always give small cups. The order came fast, BUT the pie I received was a large plain, and to make it worse NO extra marinara for the Calamari. SO I called right way, they were apologetic and said they would send a lasgne pie AND the extra marinara, ....about a half hour later, the delivery guy came back. whom I again tipped because I know these issues are not his fault, but was VERY angry when I opened the box and found that the Lasagne Pizza was BURNT, VERY BURNT!!! and of course, NO EXTRA MARINARA so I couldn't even enjoy the Calamari. I couldn't even eat a full slice before giving up. What a waste of time and money, I will never order from Rocky's again, worst delivery service ever, which is sad, because when they get it right it is good pizza.

Rocky's is becoming my go=to pizza place for ordering in these days...its always delicious! Some places come greasy and cold, but Rocky's is always hot and cooked to perfection, each and every time. The delivery guys are always so sweet, and I have never had to wait more than the proposed wait times for my food. It's going to be hard to get me to order from any other pizza place, for now. Try it!

Decent pizza, WRETCHED service. ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. When I called to ask (very politely) why my order was 45 minutes late, they acted inconvenienced by my inquiry. Oh, and even though it's a $10 minimum, if your order isn't well over that, it's deprioritized. He actually said, "We won't deliver smaller orders this late--but ok, just this once." Strange... because you seem to take my money just fine, regardless of the time. Don't do me any favors, Rocky's. I think I just may be able to find another pizzeria in NY with a little less undeserved ego. STAY AWAY.

I lived nearby for 2 months and this was by far the best cheap pizza in the area. Their sauce is what really sets the pizza apart, its a little spicy and is a notch above the average sauce. I also usually get the onion rings because its a great deal! $3 for 10 onion rings? They are always nice and crispy and once they gave me way more than 10. The food was always was delivered relatively quickly, I highly recommend Rocky's.

I called Rocky's to complain about receiving an obviously undercooked calzone, which I later found to contain absolutely no ricotta cheese, and was responded to in the rudest and most callous manner possible. To top it off, they outright refused to rectify the issue! Completely unacceptable. It's a calzone, not rocket science! And if you don't care to make good on sales and tend to customer issues, quit! Thankfully, it only took one quick call to SeamlessWeb to correct the problem. The rep I spoke to was great! She was calm, rational and sympathetic and immediately credited my account after hearing the whole ridiculous story. Thanks, Seamless!

Ordered the Shrimp Francese. It wasn't bad, but for $14.95, you get exactly 5 jumbo shrimp and an overcompensating salad. Usually you get what you paid for but not in this case. Order something else if you care about money...or if you're hungry.

Seamless charged us twice for the same order and the restaurant made double the order even though it was the exact same order coming in twice. They didn't think to call. The meat sauce tasted old and gross.

I ordered from here at 1130 pm and called at 1245 and they said it would be there in two minutes. At 115 still nothing so I call again and the guy tells me they haven't made the order yet and they are very busy. I asked him why I was told it was already on the way and he said I will send a free desert. Really unprofessional. Will not order from this place again.

Horrible pizza, had weird aftertaste and was cold and nearly destroyed when delivered. Mozzarella sticks were too salty and soggy. Dont order from here

Delivery took an hour and when it arrived it was burnt on the bottom. I was too hungry to get a new one. So gross. Never ordering from here again.

I ordered the wings here late night..they may have still been alive, we may never know. The pizza rolls were good, but that may have been because I hadn't eaten all day. Either way, if this isn't absolutely your only option I'd probably stay away

Best pizza in Murray Hill - def try the Penne A La Vodka Pizza and Chicken Cesar Salad Pizza. Parm heroes are great too. I have converted my friends to eat here from pizza 33 and rosa's which they no longer get from.
