Sabor a Mexico Taqueria

QUE GROSERIA SERVICIO Y QUE MAL SABOR NOS QUEDO! A small oversight that could have easily been fixed, cost Sabor a longstanding, loyal client by a rude employee/manager?!! Our delivery did not include the guacamole we ordered. Instead the bag was drenched with our pozole, its container cracked with a large gaping hole, and leaking all over the food. We called to have them replaced - no worries, accidents occur. Imagine the surprise when the manager insisted the guacamole WAS delivered and WE would have to return the container and prove to them that it was actually broken. Really? She would not process a refund for the pozole until it was returned, nor would she credit $2.50 for the guac, because that was not their responsibility. Seamless should process the refund. (Seamless specifically states any order concerns are with the restaurant.) Incredibly, she would not accept our offer to increase to a $12.00 ?!!! order of guacamole and apply the $2.50 credit. Our initial order was already $73.00, so the $2.50 didn't matter, we just wanted the guacamole and some fresh pozole. Finally, after much debate and insistence from the kitchen that the guacamole was packed, she offered to send over a $2.50 container. By the way, what WAS included was a small container of dried oregano. Perhaps oregano and guacamole are close enough for Sabor? That being said, the order itself was an entire disappointment. There was no cilantro in the tacos asada - the quantity of meat was less than half of the regular portion per taco; there were only 3 shrimp per taco - 9 small shrimp for $15.00; and the tacos duros had so little meat that it barely covered the taco half filled with rice. Either Sabor was very short on ingredients or skimping on flavor and quality while selling overpriced orders and shorting their customers. CUIDADO CLIENTES....NO HAY SABOR OR COMIDA AQUI!

I order from Sabor often. It sometime takes a while but always arrives good and hot. I generally only get the taco's and tamales.

I frequently order from Sabor. I think their nachos are great and their chimichangas are great. I've ordered their nachos many time and realize they are sometimes inconsistent with what they put in the nachos. However, it's still delicious. Their soft tacos are good as well.

I used to frequent Sabor a Mexico in the UES, and this one is just as good. Their delivery was fast, and the food is the same as their other locations plus a few more options. I like that they have flour tortilla chips as opposed to corn tortilla chips that everyone else seems to have. Their soft tacos are affordable and delicious. Their nachos are addictive.

This restaurant doesn't even deserve a star but that's the lowest rating I can give... HORRENDOUS customer service! I am a strong believer that if a restaurant sent the wrong order, I am entitled as a customer to voice my complaint and ask for a compromising resolution. Nope, I thought wrong... The lady on the phone was rude, had an attitude, blamed me for THEIR mistakes, lied and hung up the phone when I was in mid sentence. I told her I took a few bites of the burrito and noticed that it was the wrong order and asked if there's anyway I can send it back for the correct one. She said no, they don't accept the bitten burrito but can send the correct one in 30 mins - okay, that's totally fine and I appreciate the effort so I threw out the bland and unwanted burrito. But here's the funny part: the new order never came but my roommate's order from the same restaurant came and he asked if my order was coming - delivery guy calls the restaurant, my roommate spoke to her and SHE SCOLDED AND HUNG UP ON HIM. After hearing this rude and inappropriate event, I called the restaurant and politely asked what is going on... SHE SCOLDED ME and told me to NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. [insert profanity] in my head... That's when I called seamless to complain - totally decent and sweet person. As you can tell by now, if I'm willing to spend time and write out a thorough and lengthy comment to warn all future customers - it's a big deal, so rattled! Immature and disgusting. Ruined my night and appetite. For those of you who appreciate good service and food, do yourself a favor and order somewhere else. With such disrespect and mistreatment, this restaurant will give seamless a bad reputation and lots of customer dissatisfaction... definitely doesn't deserve to partner with seamless. Hope this doesn't happen to you! Happy eating :)!

The nachos were DELICIOUS as were both mine and my friends enchiladas. The mole sauce on mine was smoky and complex. I would definitely order this again. Why 4 stars? They didn't have the tres leches cake, but I only found out upon delivery! Luckily they gave me a 2nd flan to fix their dessert mess-up.

Love this place. Grilled Chicken taco salad = awesome. Beef hard tacos also fantastic. Sometimes delivery might be a bit slow, but doesn't matter. The Al Pastor soft tacos pretty good as well.

Ordered the Pozole from here after seeing it reviewed on Serious Eats and it was great. A nice big portion of soup, lots of hominy (could probably have used a bit more chicken) with a separate order of toppings, including avocado, oregano, onions, lime and jalapeños.

The Pozole Guerrero Style changed my life. I will never be the same. I literally EMAILED people about it. One of my coworker's tried it and then ordered it immediately. It's unlike any other soup you've ever had. You should get it.

the food is good. srsly, the most authentic mexican food around here... I moved from LA and it's almost impossible to find good mexican food in NY but this was ok...... HORRIBLE delivery though. took FOREVERRRRRRRRRR and food was all over the place

Used to order from here a lot. Usually just the tacos which were amazing. But even before they raised the minimum it was tough reaching the $15 when ordering for one. Now I'm gonna throw in the towel. $18 for Mexican food is just too much. Food was great, but I'll have to look elsewhere.

i normally do not write reviews but their service is terrible. do not order from the breakfast menu if you expect to receive a fresh fruit drink. apparently they changed the menu a year ago and do not offer the drink with the food anymore. one would think if its been that long since the menu change they would fix it on the seamless menu as well. furthermore when i asked for the soda [which did not come with the rest of my food] that was supposed to come with the lunch special the lady refused to send back the delivery guy and hung up on me mid sentence. i just tried my food and its mediocre. stay away.
