Saigon 48

This is the second time I ordered from Saigon 48. Food was pretty good and delivery time was within reason (about 45 mins) both times. Good experience and will definitely order again!

I have ordered from Saigon 48 on several occocasion, typically trying different dishes on each occasion. I have been constantly impressed with the food and service. I typically order for pickup since the restaurant is across the street from my apartment. The marinated teriyaki steak is special.

The food is excellent. It fits my diet needs so well! I often fast and don't eat meat and Saigon 48 does not let me starve. Their tofu dishes taste excellent and their make-it-yourself dishes give you lots of flexibility.

The Saigon Style Noodle soup was very good. Lots of fresh vegetables and high quality chicken and pork. I appreciate that they serve it with spicy pepper paste on the side. The fried spring rolls weren't that great. The stuffing was the same as the pork dumplings. I won't order those again, but I will definitely do the soup again!

I ordered pho and it was good but the experience I had with the delivery guy had me so annoyed, I won't order from here again. I buzzed him in and opened the door as he made a dramatic show of acting SO out of breath and irritated that I dare make him walk five flights (come on, my 70 year old mom doesn't even get that out of breath). I politely said 'hello' and 'thank you' as he shoved my food at me and he didn't say a WORD back to me before turning away and muttering under his breath as he left. SO RUDE and unnecessary. And yes, I had already tipped him 20%.
