For a place called Sandwich Planet, the sandwiches were totally underwhelming.

after waiting an hour and 15 minutes for my food I called sandwich planet. The man who answered told me he'd call back in five minutes so he could call the delivery man. When he did, he told me the delivery man gave my food to the wrong place and was on his way to retrieve it to deliver to me. At this point, it had been an hour and half, factoring in more time to ACTUALLY deliver it, I did not want food that cooked was 2 hours ago, let alone opened and probably touched by random people. I told him that was unacceptable and only then did he offer to remake the food. They did, and when the delivery man arrived he too was rude. I opened our food to find that my burger was not on sourdough bread like i ordered, nor was their any ketchup as I requested. Also, my girlfriends sandwich was on wheat bread when she requested ciabatta. They tried to make it up to us by including a couple cans of soda and some cookies, but the cookies weren't even good either. worst delivery experience of my life.

When our company moved to the area, we thought that there would be no good food in the area. Sandwich Planet was one of the first places that we discovered that proved us (happily) wrong. Sandwiches always use good cuts of meat and the orders are delivered in under 30 minutes a majority of the time. The variety of options almost makes you dizzy, but it means that there is bound to be something for everyone. And if you can't find a sandwich that appeals to you, you can always build your own from their extensive offerings.

I love Sandwich Planet. I order delivery from work and have also stopped in for a quick bite before Knicks games. My favorite is the Basic Veggie Burger, (beware it is deep fried, you can ask for otherwise) and I mix it up with the toppings, depending on the day -nice to have that variety. The fries are pretty fantastic too!

I adore Sandwich Planet for the past ten years. "Versace panini" has been my favorite for all these years. I ordered one today and got Vatican panini instead... bummer... they are too different...

I wish I could give this place no stars. Delivery estimate was 30-40mins, 2 hours later my sandwich showed up. It might have been alright if it wasn't cold with completely soggy bread.

Sandwich was dry, bread was hard, no taste at all. And this was all after the initial delivery which was sent incorrectly.

Tried this restaurant once and was burned by late delivery service and a cold sandwich that was suppose to be hot. Ordered a second time from this restaurant and there was even a later delivery (70 minutes) on top of which I ordered the croque madam except they didn't serve it with a fried egg. This is my last time ordering from this place!

Co-worker recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. Probably one of the best roast beef sandwiches I've ever had to date!

Special sandwiches are very good! But ..Delivery is slow, almost always at max time (60 minutes). Just plan for that and you should be fine. Or stop on in!
