Sanford's Restaurant

Sanford's is the best for any meal. Everything is delicious. I'm confused why none of their eggs Benedict dishes are on this menu. They're great!

When I took my food out I saw I had been given the wrong entree. Called Sanford's and was told it would be sent over. 30 minutes later it arrives...without my side item. I'm disappointed and I won't be ordering again.

Over-hyped. I do not know if I need to write more. Oh, maybe over-priced as well. After repeatedly ordering from Sanford's with the HOPE of it being delicious, it has not once been above a "good." It comes way late, always a bit cold. It is quickly thrown together, with less than quality ingredients. If anything, eat there. Farrrr better.

Been a loyal customer for about 5 years, since I moved to the neighborhood. That may all be about to change, though! Yesterday, our seamless.com breakfast order, placed just BEFORE 10am (when they start officially delivering) arrived at 11:30 AM. An hour and a half for pancakes, guys? Then the kicker - last night at 12:30 AM I was startled awake by my doorbell ringing incessantly...by a Sanford's delivery, which neither my husband nor I ordered. This morning I look at my cell phone and see a slew of missed calls from an unknown number and from...you guessed it...Sanford's. Maybe the duped my morning order at midnight? No idea. I'll remain a loyal eat-in or pick-up customer because their food is SO good, but I won't be ordering delivery again!

Sanford's is one of the BEST restaurants in Queens. I've never had a meal I didn't love, and I always take out-of-town guests here.

LOVE the food at Sanford's AND they deliver really late which is amazing! The salads always manage to stay fresh. I find that the crab cakes benedict don't travel try well but the flavors definitely hold up. Yay for the ravioli appetizer and the tuna tartar makes my meal every time.

LOVE Sanford's! The Peanut butter and banana pancakes are fantastic. Make sure you have some milk because there is a lot of peanut butter. I'm also a big fan of their omelettes and french toast. Also, everything is organic, so anything with fresh veggies is usually very good.

What's not to love about Sanford's? Absolutely delicious food at a reasonable price, and they deliver! I've been eating here since I moved to the neighborhood about 3 years ago and I've never been disappointed. Try the lobster ravioli, it's incredible.

I've been dining in and ordering delivery from Sanford's for about 2 years now and have yet to be disappointed. The Butternut Squash Ravioli is a must! Another personal favorite is the Organic Whole Wheat Linguine with organic chicken, sun-dried cranberry, apple sausage. I've tried numerous salads, quesadillas, wraps, burgers, and chicken dishes. All delicious and very generously proportioned. The Chicken Paillard is another great and healthy choice - it is topped with a yummy tomatoe/spinach salad. Definitely save room for dessert! The Banana/Caramel Xangos are scrumptious. So is the Reese's Peanut Butter Pie. LOVE this place.

The Herb Crusted Chicken sandwich is SO delicious, but the last 2 times I have ordered (the past 2 weeks) it hasn't quite been the same. Last week the 'side salad' was literally 4 pieces of lettuce & a tomato. My friend & I had to laugh to not cry about it. Tonight I ordered it and the chicken was still pink and a little too soft... raw tasting enough to make my stop eating it because I was scared I might get sick. I tried to toasting it in my toaster oven and to no avail.. I'm pretty disappointed. Sanfords is usually on point.

I've been to Sanford's a ton of times since I moved to Astoria (the new Sanford's - since it's been renovated). The food never blows me away, and there is like 1 thing on the menu I really enjoy - the pecan crusted chicken salad. I went tonight and had a terrible experience. I'm not going back and not ordering from there anymore. I ordered the pecan crusted talapia and it tasted really fishy - not fresh. So I sent it back and the owner (big bald Greek grouchy guy you see hanging around), was sitting at the other end of the bar from me. He kept leaning back to stare at me and he and the waiter whispered about me the rest of the time. Then the owner ate the food I sent back! I mean he cleaned the whole plate except for 2 bites (what I ate). Not only is that inappropriate, it's disgusting! No apology from the owner. No effort to correct things or ask what was wrong. And talking about me while i was right there? - gross. I left feeling sick. The food's not that good, and if the owner is gross enough to eat someone else's food, how do you think he's running his kitchen? PS, They recycle the dinner roles - so if you don't eat yours, the next patron gets them. H

Amazing quality and huge portions for the price. I don't normally write reviews here, but Sanford's definitely deserves a try.
