Sarge's Delicatessen

I ordered the meal and waited 80 minutes for it to be delivered. It would not have been a problem if the food was actually hot. It wasn't, and their french fries were disgusting lukewarm. I will not order from Sarge's Delicatessen again.

I love Sarge, they're the saviors for my past-midnight munchies. However their delivery time is quite slow and my sandwich usually was already cold when it gets to me. It was still good though. Love their strawberry cheesecake. Yum.

Based on the reviews here, I was reluctant to order from Sarge's. Well, I ordered at 4:15 PM on a weekday, I'm 30 blocks away, and my food arrived in 22 minutes! Also, the delivery guy wasn't rude and he came to my door.

If you’re hungry or need a quick meal, don’t order from Sarge’s. I waited two hours for my food yesterday evening. Every time that I called, the person on the other end of the phone was could care less that my food hadn't arrived. That’s horrible customer service. After the food finally arrived, my "hot" $17 sandwich had obviously cooled off quite a bit. I didn't accept the food and asked for a refund, which they said that they would process. As of this afternoon, no refund has been processed. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to trying their food. I won’t be able to now, because I'll never order from them again.

Disgusting food. It was cold and burried under a layer of fat. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes for us to get our breakfast and Sarge's has no idea what customer service means. WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER! Don't order from here.

I have ordered from Sarge's four times now, and this place is awesome! The Matzo Ball Soup is delicious and healthy. The Fish-n-chips are delicious. Very good quality. The customer service is top notch. I love ordering from this place. They're going to get a LOT of my business hence-forth.

Love Sarge's! Wish they didn't take so long... + deli sandwiches + chicken soup (especially when feeling blue) + snacks - potato pancakes (my grandmother is unbeatable. these are OK)

Very rude service. I had to call 2 hours after I placed the order, I spoke to a rude employee who told me my food had been delivered to my "doorman", I was working at a hospital with security officers and no doorman. No food arrived, no phone call from a delivery person, and the employee at Sarge's told me to take it up with Seamless if I want a refund.

Sarges, oh sarges how I love you and your carrot cake. Their sandwich selection is not competition for carnegie, but the potato pancakes & carrot cake are A+. I once ordered carrot cake 10 times in one day from there..it was the best and worst day of my life

Sarge's took 2 HOURS to deliver my food when they said it would take 50 minutes. They told me it was "on the way" for an hour. Terrible service, will never go back.

Ahhh, Sarge's. It's a love-hate relationship with you. I've tried to tell myself not to order you when I stumble home drunk but I always find myself opening my browser and clicking to you. You never fail to deliver at any hour and the food is always great. All the sandwiches are awesome...the pastrami is ridiculously good. I have an unhealthy love for buffalo chicken wings and have probably ordered it over 10x. For some reason, they make it better then most places I've had them in NYC (as good as Wogie's which some consider one of the best). I got the whole chicken soup once when I was sick and it was really really good. It's really a whole chicken cooked with carrots, celery, noodles and a giant matzo ball. Only lacks a star because my friends ordered once from my buffalo wing reco and got food poisoning. You win some, you lose some.

I am a big fan or Sarge's deli but only when visiting the restaurant. The food often is delivered cold with a smaller portion. My recommendation is to go to the actual restaurant.
