Meal fell apart on me on delivery (made a huge mess). When I reached out to the company, they did not respond at all. Will not order from here again.

Consistently great food (extra star for being kosher). If you like it spicy get the Chicken Vindaloo. I think they just might the best Vindaloo sauce in the city (including non-kosher restaurants). Mulligatawny soup is good, so are the Samosas. I'm also fond of a dish called Bhindi Masala (made with okra).

This restaurant has AWFUL delivery service. I ordered twice, here's what happened: First time: The restaurant put a picture of a very large chicken sandwich on their website (their actual website, not seamless), so i ordered it, only to receive something completely different and much smaller. When I complained, they said they would cancel the order since their website is clearly wrong (the guy on the phone checked and agreed with me). They didn't cancel it, they charged my credit card, and I had to go through a whole to-do just to remove the charge. Second time: I order a lunch special, and am told 30-45 minutes. I wait an hour, call, and am told: "Oh, its still sitting here printed out. we didn't even see it." So, I canceled the order since I had to leave the office 15 minutes later to go home. They tell me they're canceling the order for me. A minute before I leave, my food arrives, completely cold, and half open. I didn't have time to call them. I had to leave since I was in a rush. A few days later, I check my credit card, and lo and behold, they charged me. I will never order from Shalom Bombay again.

the lamb lunch special is horrible. it's 3 meatballs and a tiny bit of curry. really embarassing that they actually serve this. In addition, I've ordered here a few times and gotten chicken curry when I ordered beef. When I called (the second time this happened), I called and the manager did not even believe me! I had to send him pictures of my food for him to believe me and bring me my beef vindaloo. Why do I keep ordering from here? It's the only kosher indian restaurant... I would order from a vegetarian place but Pongal is closed sometimes.

Food is good but the menu layout isn't so great. Makes it impossible to order certain dished via seamless that could be done via phone; for example, vegetable korma.

False Advertising: Fresh Coconut Water is not fresh, it's just a box of naked brand coconut water. Food was not great and overpriced. Delivery person was rude.

I'd never eaten Kosher Indian food before I'd ordered from Shalom Bombay. They had an interesting commercial on YouTube that piqued my interest. I ordered and was very satisfied. The delivery was quick. The food was hot and fresh. The portions were a nice size. Overall, I was very happy with my experience.

Very expensive for what you get. I got the chicken curry and it wasn't real piece of chicken but ground chicken all mixed with many tomatoes and in a small container....
