Shorty's Philly Steaks and Sandwiches (Madison Avenue)

I can't get enough! Always arrives hot and delicious! Mozzarella triangles are a guilty pleasure! Bread is soft and tasty and steak has a lot of flavor!

Pretty good, but for the price ($9 for 1 cheesesteak sub) I was expecting a much bigger sandwich. These are tiny!! The bread is AMAZING though, and the steak is really good, juicy and tender and not too fatty. Delivery was super fast. The cons? Besides the size, I paid $1 for extra cheese and it just seemed like the regular amount ot me (seemed a little skimpy actually). Also, the drinks were lukewarm. I would probably just order from Carl's next time - they take longer to deliver but they're cheaper and the portions are bigger.

Got a buffalo chicken steak salad. Was fine, nothing to write home about. 90+ minutes for delivery when delivery window said 45-60 minutes.

Amazing ! Haven't even ordered the signature cheese steak sandwich yet ... and am already in love with this place. Hoagie & steak club were so good. Cheese steak is next.

As others have said, the bread is very good and somehow doesn't get soggy like the bread from Carl's or other places. The cheesesteak is tasty, but is on the small side especially for the price. The Italian fries were truly delicious. We also tried the roast pork, broccoli rabe, provolone sandwich - it was so salty as to be inedible. Truly ridiculous level of salt. The au jus that came with it was also super salty. I would never order this again. But the delivery was quick and we would get the cheesesteak and Italian fries again.

Bread is absolutely perfect. Must try; a shocking improvement from the other usual places. Quality control is weak, don't always get the ingredients that you ask for, however. Very fast delivery almost every time. Enjoy.

The Cheesesteak and Buffalo Chicken Cutlet subs are always excellent. Most importantly, they use very good bread.
