Shun Lee West

First negative experience with Shun Lee. We have a shrimp allergy and they shipped the soup with shrimp even though we specified that we had an allergy. The quality of the ribs was sub par. Very sad about this as we loved ordering from here. We'll have to reconsider now since they are expensive and what we received was not worth the money.

In January, I gave ShunLee 3 stars because it is inconsistent (see my review). It is either great or bad. Today, it was REALLY BAD. I ordered the spring rolls which were so burnt that I couldn't even bite it. The entire inside was black. I also ordered the chan do chicken which was also bad. I am used to this restaurant being inconsistent, but it has never been this bad. I will NEVER order the spring rolls again and may never order from this restaurant again. At these prices, I should be able to consistentaly get good food (even if it is not always great, it should at least be reasonably good). THIS WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!

I used to love this place - food is terrible now. In the past the quality was worth the premium now just simple overpriced for subpar quality at best. Not sure if this is just another sign of the economy however sad day for the west side since this was one of my long time favorites. Hope the Mgt reads this and takes notice before it is too late.

My 2nd time ordering from Shun Lee and it was disappointing. Thank god I ordered the BBQ Pork Fried Rice or it would have been a complete waste of money.

Food is great, but we specified that we have a shellfish allergy and got a soup with shrimp....had to dump that and prices at shun lee are up there, so it kinda hurt.

I lived in many neighborhoods and have found Shun Lee to be the best chinese food/delivery. We order from here atleast twice a month. Highly recommend.

1. Terrible service. They hung up on me when I just enquired when I'd be getting an order 2. Liars. Flat out told me I placed an order a full 30 minutes after I had received a confirmation e-mail 3. Food is ok at best, overrated and considerably overpriced

It was a horrible experience ordering from this restaurant; the order never arrived and after one hour I called and was treated very rudely. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

As Usual the food is on point. The Dim Sum is fantastic, and even though they made a mistake with my order what they sent in its place was awesome too

My girlfriend and I have dined in the restaurant in the past and so recently ordered take-out. We were VERY disappointed--the BBQ ribs were severly dry and tasteless; the sweet & sour pork was mediocre, the dim sum was also so-so and the orange beef had an odd aftertaste that rendered the dish almost inedible. We threw away most of the order. Don't know if this was a seriously bad night or what.

The worst Peking duck I have ever experienced. I would say eat but I couldn't because most of it was all bones and dried skin. It was insulting to say the least, especially having lived in Beijing where this originates from. They have no right to put in on the menu, and charge the obscene price for it, and even call it that. I will never eat at this fake, inedible, Chinese food establishment.

This is easily the best Asian food in my neighborhood. They are definitely expensive, so it's not something you can order all the time (unless you have that kind of money) but as a treat it's really worth it. Their Chan-do chicken, chicken lo mein, and hot and sour soup are my favorite. The soup, though, is really the best thing, For delivery, they're prompt, either within the estimated time or earlier, and nothing spills or gets messed up before it's here. All in all, great place to go out to (fun ambiance) but also great for take out.
