Slice of Brooklyn

Best pizza in Sunset Park and I've never had a problem with delivery time. I order from here all the time so I'm really confused by the negative reviews. The plain is fantastic, but their best is the Grandma pie. Pasta dishes are good as well. I had them cater a party (chicken francese & penne a la vodka) and all of the guests were pleased. Subs are sorely lacking, though.

Took over an hour for the pizza to come, and by that time it was completely cold and we had to heat it up in the oven. The pizza is good but their delivery time is terrible.

Noticed we were missing items (a salad and a bottle of soda) as soon as the delivery guy left. Called the restaurant immediately, and they told us to come pick it up, but they weren't delivery (despite the fact that they charged us and we tipped), then HUNG UP on us! IMPORTANT: I called Seamless customer service directly, and they were able to give us a refund for those items. If this restaurant screws you over, PLEASE call Seamless (800.905.9322) and inform them. If it's really habitual (I've seen it mentioned in other reviews) then Seamless needs to know and remove them.

After a long and partied out night, we decided to order in the next day and went with Slice of Brooklyn. Not only did they forget a few items on our order, when we called back to notify them of their error, they said we have to pick it up and then just hung up on us. No refund, no offer to make it better the next day. Nothing. WTF?! Why would we ask for delivery, pay the fee, leave a tip, if we wanted to go pick up the food anyway. Horrible service. Would not recommend to ANYONE who doesn't feel like going to pick up your food anyway.

I ordered meatballs with whole wheat penne pasta and it was really bad. The pasta was overcooked, the meatballs were not seasoned, and the sauce was too thick and chunky. I don't know what happened but I've ordered their meatballs before and they are usually pretty good. The only good thing in the order was the garlic knots.

BEST pizza for miles!!! I like my crust thin, and they will actually do that for me. Each slice always has the right amount of cheese ready to drip off it... Delicious!! The plates are really good too. They don't skimp on the ingredients! Try the chicken parm or rice ball special...
