Sophie's Cuban Cuisine (23rd St.)

Barely edible is the most charitable way to describe the meal. This was the 2nd meal in a row from Sophie's that disappointed. Most definitely will not be ordering again.

Food was ok, not bad not great. Tina's Cuban is better. Food arrived on time. I ordered the fried fish with 2 sides. Fish didnt taste fresh which was a little dissapointing. Side of salad was typical iceberg lettuce shredded with tomatos and italian dressing. I requested lemon on the side but they forgot to include it.

Sophie's is the best! Prompt delivery and the food is hot! I would order it everyday but then I would be super fat!

Disgusting. I dont know what happened to Sophie's, it used to be very good. Last night's meal was probably the worst delivery we've ever gotten.

this place is amazing! the cuban sandwiches come hot and fast. The cheese just gooes out when you pull the sandwich apart. YUMMMMY

I have ordered form Sophie's numerous times and it has always been good and the delivery very fast. But I just read a review that mentioned finding a staple in their food. Oddly enough, I too found a staple in my last order, but wrote it off to possibly loosening and dropping a staple that was used to close the bag when I went to open it. Now I realize that there may be a trend?? I will order from Sophie's again, but if I find that the trend continues, I will obviously have to write this place off for awhile.

I have orederd from Sophie's a lot, along with my colleagues. On May 15th I found a metal staple in my food and almost swallowed it. I called the restaurant and they promised to send me a discount for my next order, but I still havent received it. Not very good customer service.

I love Sophies, but the last 2 times I ordered, I waited over 1.5 hours for delivery! When I called, they made no apology. Totally bogus.

Food was supposed to come in 15-30 minutes, and it showed up in 1 hour and 15 minutes. They man on the phone was rude and really didn't consider it his problem. Food was cold and just so-so. I won't order from Sophie's again.

I don't think I've ever written a review on Seamless before, and I've been using it since it launched. I've now ordered from Sophies 5 times in 7 nights, and the only reason I didn't order the other two nights is because we had a hurricane. The food is absolutely amazing. I've had 4 different main dishes and 4 different appetizers and I loved them all. The delivery is fast (always within 20 minutes) and the portion size is more than enough for one person. I'd probably order it for the next 5 days if I wasn't leaving the city for a week, but rest assured, when I get back, I'll be ordering again.

Thanks to the wonderfulness that is Seamless web and delivery, Sophie's is a favorite on days when a soup and salad lunch just won't cut it. The chicken sandwich with the potato sticks is great and as many others have mentioned the green sauce is a must. Today I tried the Roast Pork Sandwich with a Twist....this is the most awesome sandwich ever! Pernil, onions, sweet plantains, green sauce...it's everything I love about Cuban food rolled into a perfect little package; and by little I in no way mean that this is a dainty sandwich. It is chock-full of deliciousness. As I wipe the dripping green sauce from my chin, even though we have never met in person a big thank you to Sophie's for traveling cross town to tame my appetite.
