Sophie's Cuban Cuisine (3rd Ave)

The food is pretty good, when you can get what you've ordered. Every time I've ordered from Sophie's, I've been told that the item I've ordered is no longer available. I know this happens sometimes, but it should not be the norm.

I will give a comparative review of Sophie’s and Tina’s after ordering over 30 times from each vendor over last and this past year. Taste: Tina food is consistently tasty and well prepared. Sophie’s food is always too salty and the beans can be undercooked. Value: Tina has bigger portions especially the meat and rice. Really two serving if one is a small eater Service: Even. Both places are offer fast delivery

Delivery took a long time, when they say 45 minutes it too nearly 2 hours. Food is good otherwise.

Delicious bistec plate. Fast and reliable delivery. Fourth time ordering from here. Perfect every time except for this last time, but they resent a fresh order quickly. There was a bit of arguing to get the new order because the lady on the phone wanted to see proof that the food was cold and the steak was rubbery. Will be ordering again though.

I ordered from here for the first time and I recommend it to everyone. The food tastes authentic and the delivery was very timely. The pork was cooked to perfection, the rice was great and the sweet plantains were excellent. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Very good homemade food. Wish the chicken n rice came with sauce thou as was a bit dry. But overall, good experience from delivery time to taste, defo order again

VERY salty and they messed up my order. They did NOT want to honor the day's promotion by Seamless Web. I had to end up calling SW myself. Too much Drama in the NYC!!!!

would have been great if my food had shown up. i received the confirmation email. an hour later called to check on my order. guy claimed he never got it, no manager there now and we are closed. awesome.
