Soup Stop - Madison

First time delivery, after reading past reviews I checked the items before letting delivery guy go. All of my items were there and as I ordered, the soup was especially delicious. Can't complain as it was still hot, all good and in the time frame per order. I will try them again.

food took long to arrive. i ordered the beef and cheddar empanada and it was flat, burnt and gross. i took a pic of it, posted to my facebook wall and made fun of it. my friends will never order from soup stop. i have nothing to say about this place. i will forget about it like a bad one night stand.

This is honestly my go-to for comfort food. The express sandwich is amazing, and I love that they constantly switch their soups up. Sometimes, certain soups can be subpar but nothing I wouldn't order twice. Plus, super-speedy delivery!!

If I had a choice, I'd give 0 stars. Granted, my order came speedily, but I ordered a Greek Omelette with egg whites and breakfast potatoes. For $10.25, I received literally a fried egg white with nothing inside it. Also, I should mention that the "breakfast potatoes" are just french fries. I also ordered two "large" soups. Smallest soups I've ever seen. What a rip-off. Why does this place have such good ratings?

I ordered the creamy tomato soup with chicken and orzo from here, it was seriously delicious. & it came in about 10 minutes, I was surprised that it was already here. I've also had a salad from here before and it was fresh and delicious. If you're craving homemade soup, I definitely recommend this place.

On the plus side, they deliver fast and the soup and specialty salads are great (I like the curry chicken salad and the lentil one). When the hot fudge sundae actually includes hot fudge, it's delish, but sometimes they substitute lame chocolate syrup which is a total miss in my book.

Veggie soup was okay if a bit cooler than i care for. THe baked potatoes are a nice size but were too cold for the butter to even think about melting. And the Carrot, Apple, Beet, Ginger juice we ordered tasted a LOT more like Ginger, ginger, ginger beet juice - they need to take better care with the orders and frankly, if you cannot get it to the customer hot, you likely shouldn't have it as an option for delivery.

The food is alright much of the time, but the lack of consistency will lose them my business. The red onions in my "make-it-yourself" small salad were cut so thick that they were inedible, and the quantity overpowered the salad. The soups are always on point, though. The delivery times are hit and miss.

Great place for soups and wraps. Usually delicious and quickly made & delivered. One thing to watch out for is their "Specialty Salads" - I normally get a Greek Salad wrap, and thought one day I'd like it as a salad, but the salad version is literally just in the ingredients from the wrap (peppers, feta, etc.) dumped into a plastic to-go container with NO ACTUAL SALAD. I called to clarify with them and they said the Specialty Salads are exactly as described, without any actual lettuce, tomato, etc. The most disappointing lunch I'd had in a long time (I think I actually threw it out). For a great Greek SALAD option, try Effy's on 2nd Ave.

Delivery was prompt - within the 24-40 min range. Chicken noodle soup was good but nothing to write home about, especially when "Soup" is in the name of the restaurant you'd think it'd be amazing. Broccoli & Cheese baked potato was lacking both broccoli (about 4 peices) and cheese (small glop on top) and the potato was hard & not cooked long enough. Tasted like it was put in the microwave. I'd rather wait longer for a potato baked in the oven. Overall not impressed.

I've ordered here countless times in the past, but won't be doing so anymore. Just ordered a large soup and had it delivered by an angry delivery guy basically dumped out entirely into the plastic delivery bag... AVOID

Waaay over priced!!! They are out of chicken noodle soup by 5p almost every day and make no attempt to keep up with the demand. This chicken noodle soup is phenominal!!! The 7grain bread is also amazing, they also sell out of this every day. It is a real shame the sell out of their best food items every single day & do not rectify it. Even though they are over priced, I would pay- if they had the food available! :(
