Soy and Sake Village

Soy and Sake Village has the distinction (unfortunately rare) of having ZERO violations from the city's restaurant inspections, reason enough to patronize them. The menu takes a little getting used to -- everything is actually made of soy or vegetables, never meat or fish. So tuna sushi is actually soy sushi. My favorite is spaghetti and meatballs (actually soyballs, but that doesn't sound as good). Update: They've changed the menu and no longer have those spaghetti and meatballs on the menu!

You have to try the Buffalo Wings. They're made of soy but the flavor of the sauce is even better than the real thing!

Every order has been a hit with me and FAST. I've gotten complimentary tofu yogurt from time to time as well. Soy Nuggets are unbelievable. I loved this place even before I went vegetarian.

i have ordered from soy and sake a few times. i liked the simple BLT, however i most recently ordered the club sandwich and it was slathered in a bbq sauce. odd, i thought, for a club in which case it should have been stated in the item description. i also requested toasted bread, which they forgot. so, overall i would say they lack attention to detail.

Great veggie options; one naruto option. The shrimp tempura is unique--sliced up dices of fried shrimp. Quick delivery too.

Everything i have ordered from here has been tasty and cooked to perfection. The presentation of the food is great, bento boxes are packed with delicious food, sushi is awesome. All round, a delightful experience.

The sushi was below average at best; in fact, the best part of the order was the tomato soup that I didn't order. But I guess I got soup instead of the bottle of sparkling water that I had ordered but didn't get. If you like sushi drowned in a variety of sauces this is the place for you; if not, I suggest you go elsewhere.

I was very disappointed. I ordered the philadelphia roll and the "salmon" tasted like a soggy rubber sponge. I couldn't even eat it. The "cream cheese" tasted sour and old. I will never order from this restaurant again.

As a vegan this is one of my favorite places, especially when I'm in the mood for sushi and/or comfort food, and the delivery is fast and reliable. I do wish they would cut down on the plastic containers, forks, etc., that make me feel very guilty about ordering in.

It was probably the worst sushi I have ever had. The tuna on my spicy tuna roll was brown and obviously not fresh anymore. I will never order again from this place, stay clear of this place.

This place is awesome -- in person or via delivery. Not only are their fancy faux fish, etc. dishes great, the more basic items like the tempeh BLT are really just *good.* They've also got my favorite french fries in the city.

Amazing animal free food anyone will like. Try the vegetable tempura sushi. You'll be amazed there's no egg used and how good it tastes. Good prices and selections and the great pies.
