Food was good though nothing exceptional. I have to say though that the portions of dishes relative to rice in the lunch box seemed pretty skimpy and the samosa that came with it was quite small. I would have given four stars if the portion sizes were better. I wouldnt be against ordering from here again though there are others indian restaurants on seamless that are both better tasting and are a better value (ie bhatti).

It's nice to know that the owner is passionate about her restaurant. Though I don't like the fact that they under estimated the delivery time the food was good and their service was even better. I would order it again.

Although there have been some hiccups in the quality, the food is generally quite good. Moreover, the owner of Spice Symphony is dedicated to ensuring costumer satisfaction.

Food was good but portions were skimpy. Update. This restaurant kindly asked me to give them a second chance. Second time around portions were more substantial. In both cases the food was really good.

My favorite Indian restaurant in Manhattan!! The delivery usually takes up about 30-40 mins. But it's never been ghastly late. The food is as authentic as Indian food can be. It's a bit pricey but their lunch boxes are totally worth the $8 you spend.

The lamb lunchbox (all of the lunchboxes really) is an excellent value. Daal, naan, curry, rice, a samosa, and chutney/raita is a deal that can't be beat! The naan is well made, not overly chewy, nor undercooked and doughy. The lamb itself could've been cooked to be more tender, but the sauce was very tasty. The samosa arrived still crunchy and hot, everything I want from my samosa. I will undoubtedly be ordering more lunchboxes to satisfy my future Indian cravings. And it must be said, that they take their customer relations seriously, and actively try to improve from the comments and criticisms.

My original review of this restaurant was very harsh (my food arrived 2 hours late, but was very good once it did arrive), and I gave the restaurant two stars. However, the owner just called me and apologized personally for making me wait; I'm a native Manhattanite, and I don't think that's ever happened to me before, so I am bumping this up to five stars (after all, the food was good).

Very nice! The Asian I think works better here than the Indian, but both are pretty good.

This place is a gem for 1 obvious reason -- and 1 not so obvious. I placed an order for samosas and vegetable biryani - and the food arrived hot, on time, and with a cute little note stapled to the bag (wishing me a delicious meal). The samosas were delicious and perfectly crispy, without being crumbly - and the accompanying sauce complimented them perfectly. The vegetable biryani was perfectly spiced...and then I stumbled upon cubes of either tofu or cheese...which was concerning because I am allergic to all dairy, and the menu never listed cheese as an ingredient (only spices, veggies, and rice). I immediately called the restaurant, where I was informed that the cubes were actually cheese. I explained my allergy and asked if I could get an updated order of biryani (this time vegan), and the restaurant obliged with sincerest apologies. Even the delivery guy apologized for the mishap when he came back with my second order. Getting this type of customer service is very unusual, and I appreciated the thorough follow-up! I will definitely order from here again.

One of my favorite indochinese restaurants! My favorite is the vegetable manchurian (even though I am not a vegetarian). The price is awesome -- they give you a lot and entree includes rice. The chicken tikka masala is also very good. If you are not too good with spicy I believe you can just ask to make it not so spicy. The people there are really friendly. I've been recommending this place to all my friends and now I'm writing my first seamless web review.

After ordering a number of times and loving the food, I had an order arrive late and was quite disappointed. I shared my disappointment and the owner called me and offered a refund and a personal apology. It is good to see a restaurant owner address problems. This is a small business and not a chain, which is probably why customer service is great. Bravo for getting it right and for caring about your customers.

This place is the most pleasant delivery/indian food place in NYC. They seem so respectful just by the way the food is packed. I always get the lunch specials: 1. The food tastes consistently good. 2. The food seems to be clean - never got sick 3. This one makes me love them - they pack the food so well. They give chutneys in small little plastic containers. All the little boxes are set one on top of the other and they are wrapped with plastic. This stops it from spilling and even it it spills it doesnt go over all the other stuff 4. The lunch special comes with rice, naan, main curry dish, a side, a samosa. This is amazing. I love the fact that there is so much. I used to order indian from all over the place every since it has opened 1. I have only ordered at this restaurent 2. I have eaten more indian food than I would in a week 3. I even told my co workers about the place and I see them eating atleast once a week. I would recommend highly recommend this place. Happy eating!
