Stir Cafe

The food here is decent although they rarely have an "A" rating and have even been shut down a few times - but with that being said I still go to them since they are a decent neighborhood deli. Well... the service of the cashier girl this morning was absolutely DISGUSTING. At 10:34 am she charged me over $6 for a sandwich that is usually $4 and gave a nasty explanation that the special ended at 10:30. It was before 10:30 WHEN I ORDERED IT but when I finally got to the register at 10:34 and she very rudely told me it was 6 and asked me - do I want the food or not? I should have thrown it at her! I will NOT be ordering from there again. You just lost a customer who does individual as well as office catering orders on a regular basis. Stir Cafe needs to reconsider their customer service policy.

My co-workers and I love the burgers at Stir Cafe: the unique varieties they offer, the brioche bun, nifty paper box packaging, and the little tub of coleslaw are all nice touches. Definitely the best reasonably priced burgers we've had in the area.

Great place if you like to get ripped off and talked to like an idiot. Order Wholewheat Bagel (toasted), 2 Eggs,Pastrami, Cheese, Lettuce + Tamatoes. Price? I'm glad you asked, $11! I've been working for 4 years across the street and the most I ever paid at Stir was $5.60 for the same thing. This is not the first time they tied to rip me off there. I guess hungry tourists will pay anything with the Euro...

Every time i order theres something wrong. Sandwhich was supposed to come with a salad and it was missing. It was a grilled chicken sandwhich with avocado, but seems more like an avocado sandwhich as the minuscule piece of chicken i received barely covers half the sandwhich. Order also took over an hour, despite being across the street from my office, and the guy who delivered the food didn't speak a word of english. Why bother calling me if you cant even say "I'm here" ?

We placed a breakfast order at 8:45am. The restaurant indicated it would be delivered in 15-30 minutes. When it had not arrived at 9:30am, we called the restaurant. It took several attempts to get someone to answer.When we finally spoke with someone, they told us the order was just leaving. We live maybe 10 minutes away but at 10am, it still had not arrived. We finally canceled the order at 10:10am.

terrible service. ordered such a simple order - 2 bagels w/ cream cheese. waited over an hour than decided to call them - they said they tried calling me (yet didn't leave any voicemail and didn't get any call) saying that they ran out of plain bagels and all they had were blueberry bagels. than as the lady is speaking to me she decides to put me on hold for over 5 minutes. i probably wouldve been on hold even longer than that if i hadn't hung up. thank god i ordered through seamlessweb because I was easily able to cancel my order through them that way i wouldn't be charged. never ever will i order from this place again.

Officemate and myself received sandwitch with side salad. The salad was wilted and contained vegatables that were brown and slimy. I'm glad I am an SeemlessWeb administrator. I've just removed this restaurant from our weekly group order. Just wish I could upload of photo of how disguesting this looks!!

First order I placed they didn't have what I had originally ordered, so they decided to just swap it out with something else and sent it. Thinking it may have been an isolated incident, I placed another order again the next week to give them a second try. They again swapped my order with something else (completely different), both times without letting me know and just sending the order over.

Delivery quote was 15-30 minutes. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes. Panini is not a panini but a toasted pita bread sandwich. It is not grilled. Salad with dressing on the side means salad soup with 2 inches of dressing at the bottom of the bowl. Never again
