Stone Street Tavern

Usually I would rate Stone Street Tavern higher, as I do like their food, but the Lobster roll was awful! I haven't had such a terrible roll in my life. Not only was it just drenched in mayo, but it was served on a hot dog bun! I would have expected better from here.

Stone Street Tavern is one of the better, if not best, option in the Stone Street area. The neighborhood has a slew of pub-type restaurants, all in a row, with little to differentiate one's menu from the next. Stone Street Tavern, however, has the best food of the bunch, from my experience. I recommend the marinated skirt steak sandwich or cheeseburger, specifically. The mac & cheese is pretty good too, and microwaves really well if you choose not to eat it right away. Delivery is generally fast. However, everything I've had there is good.

I love their cheese fries, but sometimes they aren't great. The delivery is FAST... Lightening fast. Sometimes it takes only ten minutes. I also like their buffalo chicken wrap, though it's not incredibly special, but it's plain like I like it.

Burgers had a very weird burnt taste to them. The sweet potato fries are crinkled (big plus!) but they weren't quite crispy enough. Probably will not order again.

What happened to this place? The food used to be so good and now it is inedible. Just ordered the lobster mac-n-cheese. There is an overpowering pepper taste and it is as if someone just melted a block of cheddar cheese over some overcooked noodles. Last time I ordered the steak salad, it came with two sad pieces of steak which were mainly grizzle and no vegetables. I should have learned my lesson, but wanted to give what used to be a solid restaurant another try. I wouldn't waste your money here.

This meal was the pinnacle of horrible. I ordered to the office and paid 21+ dollars and got two mini crab cakes (yes the $13 crab cakes are two baby crab cakes barely larger than a child's teacup) and greens and mashed potatoes that tasted like sweet potatoes, I used to like this place but after this shit I never will again, I hope their restaurant goes bankrupt !

I will never order from here again. They delivered a $17 salad with both missing and spoiled ingredients and when I called and asked for something different they tried to make me pay the less than $2 difference for the food.

Horrible service. Horrible food. Food did not arrived as described. I called them and all I got was bad attitude. I will never order from them again. Wish there was an option for zero stars, because they are that bad.

Menu was out of date b/c one of the items (steak tidbits) on their online menu they don't have anymore (they called to tell me that) and was able to replace it with a burger. Order arrived on time. The regular french fries that came with the orders were way too greasy and looked like they were not fresh - maybe they were sitting in the kitchen for a while and not freshly fried. At least the sweet potato fries that came with the burger tasted better and were not too greasy, but the burger was not good at all (can get much tastier burgers from burger burger or good burger), buffalo wings were ok. Chicken Fajita wrapped was not good (bland with favor little flavor and no average or ok chicken taste) - couldn't even finish half of it and felt bad about that but it was just not that good (the chicken sandwich at mcdonald's or chickn from nyc's halal kebab carts would probably taste better). Will never order from here again even if they gave a 50% discount. 2 stars barely (1 star for the sweet potato fries and 1 for the ok wings).

Good food but historically bad service. Lately, the service seems dramatically improved but I would still proceed with caution. If you are starving, I don't suggest ordering from here.

Salad was small for the price. Delivery guy waited outside the building so I had to leave the lobby to go search for him. Not ordering from again.

when i received the delivery, and opened the box, it was less than half of the box size. If that is the standard amount, why have such a huge container? It seemed more like the food was removed!! disappointing experience.

Yuck! Soggy calamari, "lobster" mac and cheese with no discernable lobster and cheap supermarket pasta with regular supermarket cheese. Also, they advertise canned Coke (for which they charge an insane 3.50, then turn up with Pepsi saying they don't sell Coke. Definitely not ordering again.
