Sunburst is one of my favorite places to order. I have never gotten anything from here that I didn't like. The brunch items are fabulous and you have to try their specialty iced coffees (Hawaiian Iced Coffee is delicious, trust me.). Their sandwiches are really tasty. The burgers are huge and they come with a side salad or soup. It's worth the price. Sometimes delivery can take a while though, depending on the day of the week and the hour. But for the most part, the food is still worth the wait. Love ordering dinner from here on the weekdays and brunch on the weekends!

The omelet I ordered was good but not correct. Sunburst appears never to read you comments thoroughly, as I asked for a change in cheese that was not done, and I asked for a change from potatoes to spinach as a side and they choose to just send nothing instead. When I called, I was told that my correct order would be sent. Over an hour later my food has still not been sent, nor have I received a phone call about the order. In my opinion Sunburst is much more efficient in their dining room than they are with delivery. This is not my first wrong order with them, but it is my first review.

Damn you Sunburst. This was the last time. Ordered an egg white omelet with broccoli and cheese. No Egg whites, like I ordered. REALLY gross broccoli. Cheese not even melted. Had to put it in the microwave. ugh. It was just really terrible experience. I hope this food on no one. ever.

I can bolding say the Gramercy Park Omelette is the best omelette I have yet to have in NYC. It travels extremely well. Sunburst is a winner.

Disgusting! Just got my order. Ordered the French toast, bacon, Waffles (for my boyfriend), and two grande orange juice. The french toast was burned of course. This is my second time ordering french toast from this place, and I ignored the fact that the first time I ordered it was burned. I figured that couldn't happen again and surely this time would be better, I was wrong. Both slices were terribly burnt. The waffles have absolutely NO TASTE! The first time I ordered the waffles they were just as disappointing. The bacon was dry. cold, and disgusting. The freshly squeezed orange juice was fresh squeezed gross! It was incredibly sour. I don't know if the food is better when you sit to dine at Sunburst, but this is crazy. I gave this place a second chance and I will not give it another. Worst $30 I ever spent.

Not good... just average. There are MANY cheaper places that offer better pancakes (which were over cooked) for delivery late. Don't take a chance on Sunburst, it's not worth it.

Awful customer service! Ordered the New Yorker Special (bagel,w/ lox and egg) at 12:22 pm - never got my confirmation email - after 30 min I finally called and asked if they even were sending my order. They said they were - and it was on its way. Not until 1:40 pm did this horrific joke of a restaurant show up and it was COLD! Get your act together Sunburst!

I ordered on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Sunburst said the food would be delivered in 25-40 minutes, and it was not delivered until 9:15pm. I happen to know the restaurant well, and it is rarely busy so there is absolutely no excuse for why it took an hour and 15 minutes for a simple sandwich and shake.

I had the French Omelette Special with an Almond aftertaste (aka the Iced Chocolate Almond.) The omelette with goat cheese and basil was actually pretty tasty, I'd order that again. Came with average roasted potatoes, dry toast and a decent chocolate crepe. There was butter and jelly for the toast, but the butter was liquid after sitting by the hot container, kind of like the Iced "Chocolate" almond that had spilled over everything but the napkins. I believe eating-in at Sunburst would be a better experience.

I ordered a large brunch for several people (cheese blintzes, French toast, eggs, bacon, bagels), and, for the most part, was very satisfied. The brioche French toast was covered in almonds, bananas and blueberries and was especially heavenly. The blintzes were passable, as were the eggs. The only thing I would *not* recommend is the red velvet cupcake. It's dry and has no flavor. Delivery could definitely be faster - it took about an hour and fifteen minutes. Still, I'm definitely up for trying Sunburst again.

excellent standby -- super great for seamless delivery. i enjoy the 2 organic eggs any style, their breakfast sides are awesome. favorite is water mozzarella and sun-dried tomato sammich on a french baguette (always fresh and delicious).... drinks are always amazing -- coffee, iced tea, lemonade. monster sizes get me through my shifts at work. i love you sunburst!

It's about time I reviewed this place. I order my Sunburst breakfast just about every goddamn morning. I think what keeps me coming back for breakfast is the free cup of coffee before 11:30 AM. I add a double-shot of espresso to the mix and I've got my morning caffeine fix for 2 bucks. The french omelette is superb and hearty, and the blintzes make me go mmmmmmmm. Another cool thing about Sunburst is that they really seem to respond to a customer's "special instructions." A minor example: for awhile, they used to spill my coffee all over the place en route in a brown paper bag. Ever since I wrote "mind the spills," they completely changed the way they packaged my food and drink. 4 stars because: 5 stars means culinary revelation. 4 stars means really really yummy. Sweet deal.

I ordered lunch from Sunburst for the first time today, and everything about it met or exceeded my expectations. Delivery was quicker than the estimated delivery time, and my food arrived piping hot. I ordered the soup and salad combo- I chose the brie and eggplant sandwich on a baguette, and french onion soup. The brie was flavorful, and the baguette was nice and fresh. The soup was a nice balance of flavors and textures, and went really nice with the sandwich. Both were large portions for the price. I'd recommend this to anyone.
