Sushi Yawa

Excellent quality sashimi and rolls. We always order take-out and have never been disappointed. This is a bargain! Sushi Yawa has made it so inexpensive to have a high quality meal with great customer service - never an error or mistake on our orders.

I am a huge fan of sushi yawa and usually order it for lunch 2-3 times a week. Delivery is SUPER fast and the food is always delicious. I highly recommend!

My staff and I have been ordering from Sushi Yawa for about a year... Consistently!!! Over the past few months we've had a few problems with the delivery guy and his attitude. He has no patients and would always make smart comments as he was walking out about us making him wait. Today was the last straw. Were no longer allowed to have deliveries inside of the store. He was asked to wait in front of the door. Luckily I came up when I did because he was getting on his bike to leave with my food. He then asked me why did he have to wait outside... I gave him an explanation which I don't feel like I needed too but I did. He responded "f*** your boss" TWICE! I've dealt with his poor attitude long enough. Sadly my team and I will have to find a new Sushi place that delivers. Luckily we work in New York City and that won't be too difficult. So long Sushi Yawa!!!!

I'm not one to spend my time writing reviews like some mayor on Yelp or whatever, but when I see an injustice, I need to jump into action to clear the air. Sushi Yawa is an excellent restaurant. The only justification I can surmise for their low rating is sabotage by the competition (seriously). My wife and I have been ordering here consistently since Sushi Yawa opened and we have never been close to being disappointed. We've tried ordering other sushi places for variety and our response invariably is "we should have ordered Sushi Yawa". Beyond the food quality, their service and speed of delivery is second to none in Seemless nation. The fact that they have such a low rating right now should make one call into question the entire rating system. So ignore the propaganda and order Sushi Yawa. You will be thankful you did.

Sushi yawa has great sushi. It's very fresh and I order it all the time. They never mess up an order and always have great customer service! I would definitely recommend this place!

We love sushi and have eaten at many Japanese restaurants in Manhattan. Sushi Yawa is our favorite. We order once a week. The food is always fresh and delicious. Deliver is quick. My favorite is the Fujiyama Salad which I haven't found anywhere else.

Asked for soba noodles and a diet coke. Got udon noodles and a regular coke. Very frustrating considering it's not cheap. ** UPDATE ** Sushi Yawa called to apologize for the confusion and offered me a credit. I upped my stars for excellent customer service. I'll provide another review once I place a second order.

sushi is always fresh and delicious. Big differentiator with Sushi Yawa is that you get more fish and less rice on the rolls. I order from were once a week.

I've had good experiences with Sushi Yawa in the past, unfortunately this one was bad. Delivery time was fine, but the spicy tuna was clearly thawed out from frozen. While not spoiled, it was definitely fishy.

Sushi is just OK but is not worth it with service this bad. They claim to deliver within 15-30 minutes- however I waited over an hour for my food. When I called the restaurant to find out when my food would arrive I was put on hold for 5 minutes only to then be hung up on. When I called back they refused to cancel my order and were again very very rude. I will absolutely NEVER order from them again.

Damn good. Super fast (I'm on west 9th, always less than what it says on the site) and excellent, whether you get sushi, sashimi, or yakitori. Not cheap, but more than worth it.
