Sushi Yu II

I can't believe this place has such high reviews. Every time I eat here I get sick. Every. Single. Time. I love sushi, and I keep hoping the last bad experience with Sushi Yu II was a fluke and so I give them another try - but sadly, no. Their sushi is just really bad quality (or the fish is maybe not kept cool enough). It's just not worth getting sick.

The sushi here is delicious! It is a bit pricey but worth it, the reason I give this place 3 stars is soley based on the food and NOT the customer service! The asshole delivery man was unsatisfied with his tip he proceeded to scream at me and when I had enough of his Asian broken English I slammed the door on him which he then decided to BANG on my door for 20 minutes until him and my boyfriend had an actual confrontation!y suggestion don't get delivery from this man!

I've eaten a ton of sushi, this place is pretty consistently decent. It's not the place to go for super traditional Japanese fare, but if you want fresh fish and rice for a fair price and you want it to be tasty, this is the spot to go in Washington Heights.

So glad they are finally on seamless! I've been ordering from them since I moved here two years ago. They have fresh sushi, great soups and a fast and friendly guy who delivers.

took an hour...that's fine. I understand they are a little distance from us. when they delivered, they forgot four items. they sent someone else who only brought 3 of the 4 items. They are supposed to give me credit for the last item. I doublt i ever order from them again though. the sushi was just ok.

This place is great, I would said the best sushi place aound here. Their food is good, fresh, tastly, more healthy. good place to dine in and take-out.

This place is quite excellent, I like their sushi lunch specials (the spicy salmon a particular favorite), and they are really friendly and accommodating there as well. Glad they finally made it on to Seamless.

Delivery was really, really quick. Order was accurate. Sushi was fresh. No complaints. So nice to have another restaurant available in Washington Heights and even nicer it is sushi!

Not the best sushi I have ever had, but does the trick when you have a craving in the heights. Definitely one of my regular order-in places.

the food is ok, not worth the increase in price that happened a few months ago. if you are getting delivery, make sure to call ahead and find out the wait. on here it says 30-45 minutes, after waiting an hour i called to be told the delivery guy left 5 minutes ago, after an hour and a half i called to cancel the order, two blocks, regardless of how many delivers can surely be done in that time. they would not cancel the order and refund my money, instead i had to wait even longer for the delivery guy. very frustrating experience.

Honestly I used to love this place but the last few times we've ordered the eel has been burnt, the special rolls are tiny and not worth the 15 dollars (they used to be much bigger), the miso soup is so salty you can't eat it, and the edamame is disgusting. I don't know what happened. Really a bummer.
