The vegetarian options are especially good here: sauteed green beans, stuffed tofu crepe, spicy Szechuan pickle. Highly recommended.

Real Szechuan food a couple of blocks away from me!!! The cook is from Chengdu (where I have been) and a quite a few of the dishes are authentic and delicious. My pick is the Double Cooked Fresh Bacon w/Spicy Capsicum--I loved this dish in China and I can get it here!

Yum yum! Best Chinese food I've had in New York. Especially for the upper East side. If you don't like spicy food go easy on the Szechuan dishes---they don't hold back. Loved the braised beef with napa cabbage but it's really spicey!

This is the best szechuan in the area. The food always arrives quickly and hot in great re-sealable plastic containers that are perfect for leftovers. I love the fiery crispness of the diced chicken with 3 types of peppers... addictively spicy. I am also a fan of the ma po tofu and the szechuan dumplings. For a bite of something cold between hot food try the salted vegetables. If you want a deal, their lunch specials are a great bargain... same great food in a slightly smaller portion for a great price.

You need to know how to order and what to order from this place... This isn't your usual American Chinese take out place, they actually offer Real Sichuan Chinese food. For all the people who think the food is bad,you either ordered the typical take out stuff ( not their specialty) or you really just don't like SiChuan food or may not even know exactly what it is. Not all Chinese food is created equal, so if you are expecting your usual chicken and broccoli (NOT a real Chinese dish), then skip this place, but if you are looking for something more authentic then, this is the place to get your fix!

Ordered for the first time and was fully satisfied. Five spiced tofu, sponge squash and smoked duck. Everything was really tasty. I'll definitively come back.

You have to know what to order, they're great at the traditional, authentic sichuanese dishes that most people don't know exist. But it's not for the quick sesame chicken fix. Best things on the menu, seafood tofu bisque, tomato egg soup, mapo tofu, bok choy, all the fish, the chef's specials like spicy beef and fish with napa cabbage - amazing.

The food here is horrible. I ordered vegetable dumplings, sesame chicken and sesame noodles. I took one bite of each item and threw everything out. The food is bland and overly spicy to cover up how bad the food tastes. The restaurant earned one star for semi-speedy delivery time.

Chicken Broccoli was sub par. The sauce was watered down and everything just didn't taste good. I didn't even finish, which says a lot, especially since I was really hungry. No problem with the delivery - took 40 minutes, which is standard. That and the decent portion earn this place a second star.

The delivery is slow. I had a lunch special-beef & sprouts, ox tendon, and ox tongue& tripe. None of those are impressive. The cold plates taste tough and plain.

tonight along with my food i got a lecture from the delivery man. "the next time you want chinese food you order by 11! you understand? this is when we go home!" if they don't want to deliver at 11:30, perhaps they shouldn't accept orders until 11:15.

It's good to have another option for super-spicy food in the neighborhood but cooking here has gone way downhill. The stir fried dishes are now all too greasy, almost like they came off of a short order cook's hamburger frying stovetop. The house LO MEIN is cheap but terrible, in some weird dark brown sauce. The PORK FRIED DUMPLINGS are also cheap but not very good. We also had the BABY SHRIMP W PICKLED GREEN VEGETABLES which was insipid and greasy. The one decent dish we ordered was the DICED CHICKEN W 3 TYPES OF PEPPER, so it makes sense to stick to these sichuan dishes--but even this suffered from seeming like it came from a greasy short order kitchen--the spices were okay but overall the dish was just unappetizing.
