Taco & Tortilla King

Great value for the price. I will definitely order from this place again. Having lived in Texas for 6 years, I know how good Mexican food should taste like, but I've been disappointed in everything I've tried in New York so far. But since it was Cinco de Mayo, I decided to give it another shot and tried Taco & Tortilla King despite it's 2-star rating. Well boy were they wrong. This place deserves 5 STARS!!! The steak and guacamole taco was delicious, and I can't believe the amount of steak I got for this $2.49 taco! I also got the grilled chicken monterrey jack cheese quesadilla which exceeded my expectations as well. The chicken was grilled to perfection, and it had the right amount of cheese, and the home made tortillas are fresh. My boyfriend got the combination steak and chicken enchilada and liked it a lot too. He liked the steak one better than the chicken one, but a delicious dinner for 2 including tax and tip for less than $20, you just can't beat that!

Good cheap tacos and quesadillas made by Asians. They make the tortillas fresh on the grill when you order.

Simple, fast, and cheap. (And greasy, too.) The tortillas are what really make it good. This place excels at the simple dishes, but falls off a bit for more complicated stuff. Stick with the simplest dishes for maximum enjoyment, in my opinion. (This is the best analog I've found in NYC to the 24-hour burrito shops in Southern California.)

Really tasty food, quick delivery even though i work pretty far from this restaurant. i ordered the shrimp quesadilla and shrimp taco and LOVED IT . My sister tried some and ordered from there today! LOVING IT!

NEVER NEVER AGAIN. I NEVER write bad reviews. But this is place is horrendous. Online it looks OK...Mexican food for 5 or 6 bucks. Totally reasonable, right? WRONG! This place is a low-budget CHINESE food place that has tried to expand. It's a major, major mistake. I've been tricked twice into ordering from here (as soon as I go to pick it up, I realize it's this place and I'm like, ohh woops, it's this place). My last meal was completely stuck to the foil...couldn't eat it properly. Then started tasting it, and it's disgusting! It's CHINESE FOOD CHICKEN in a Mexican wrap!!! DISGUSTING! These don't go together...stick with Chinese food!!!!! This is NOT an adequate Mexican food establishment of ANY sort!!! Don't be fooled!!!

sub par tex-mex made by chinese people. delivery guy literally knew no english and yelled at me for not putting my apartment number in the description. then he quickly ran away after i pointed on the printed receipt where i had listed it.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! the food came in a chinese food box and the tortialls tasted like greay chinese noodles. the meat was gross and the cheese in my burrito was a SLICE. this food is nauseating and a waste of money!!!

Like someone else said, enchiladas don't have sauce on them, which is kind of weird. The sauce comes on the side. Generic cheap Mexican food- if you want cheap and mediocre, this is your spot. Really quick delivery- about 15 minutes, if that.
