Taksim Restaurant

This place is terrible do not order from here. Our order took over an hour. We called the restaurant to just ask to cancel, as they told us the food had been "out for delivery" for over a half hour. We asked the restaurant to cancel our order but they refused, so the only way we could settle it was through seamless. I'd recommend not ordering from here!

This is our favorite Turkish restaurant in NYC. The Cacik is delicious and we get it every time we order from Taksim. I also really enjoy the Lamb Shish Sandwich. The lamb is always cooked perfectly.

Taksim is a great place. Always delivers delicious, fresh food with a relatively short delivery time. They have great whole fish and the sides are equally tasty. The fresh bread is also very good.

Excellent food, nice to eat out at. Very casual and warm atmosphere. Perfect if you are hungry and don't know what you want to eat. It's my go-to restaurant in that situation.

VERY LATE. Guy on phone was very curt. If I wanted my food an hour after the specified delivery time (with two hours notice) I would order it then.

Falafel, hummus, pilaf rice - so amazing. Seriously generous with the pita and really quick delivery. Well packaged, everything was in saran wrap so nothing spilled. I also appreciate that they are environment-concious in that you must ask for plastic utensils. A +

Fantastic delivery. You get a lot of extras with dinner and sometimes a surprise - we got two pieces of delicious baklava.

The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. Portions were tiny, next to no dressing on the salad, mediocre bread. Better options exist. The delivery guy was really nice, though!

Delivery was on time which is why they are getting any stars at all. Greek Salad so bland and tasteless. Cacik was boring and the bread was hard, cold and gross. Definitely wont be ordering again.

If they get your order wrong or don't deliver, they will demand that you pay twice for food you did not receive.

Even better the second time around! Fresh and absolutely delicious. Their house specialties really are special - yum! Also, delivery was well within estimated time, so bonus points for that. This place is consistent and now a definite neighborhood fave!

The food is GREAT, don't get me wrong. I just ordered the special kabob sandwich wrap. On the menu, it said it came with pickles, salad or fries. On SeamlessWeb, there is no place to choose the sides, but I just figured they'd give it all. Order came, sandwich/wrap was so good, but so small for $12.50, and a TINY salad, NO pickles and NO french fries. Disappointing value.

Just ordered from there tonight (11/16/2010). it was AWFUL. Very dry, uncooked wrap. I got the chicken kabob wrap and the eggplant with zucchini, tomatoes and peppers. It was FULL of oil. This place is a rip-off, has poor-quality food and should be avoided at all costs. DO NOT WAIST YOUR FIRM'S MONEY HERE!
