Tataki

Food was good, but order took 1 1/2 hours to arrive! I'll let it slide because the weather wasn't great so probably 1,000 people were ordering out BUT according to Googlemaps, we are 6 minutes away from Tataki. Kind of ridiculous.

Good quality for the price. As opposed to most restaurants that load up on the rice, the rolls at Tataki have a large portion of fish. The rice is also not overpowered with vinegar and spices. Fast delivery.

Not the absolute best I've ever had, but solid and reliable. I've ordered from them a few times and never had a problem with their food. Everything has been pretty fresh and delivery on time.

I order a TON of sushi and this restaurant has the freshest fish. The Salmon sushi is so tasty and wonderful. I love sweet shrimp and they do it perfectly. Try their negamaki!

Really was digging this place until I ordered the spicy shrimp roll lunch combo today. It was literally a california roll with shrimp. When I called to ask about how it was prepared, I was told it was served with a "clear" spicy sauce with attitude. I said, that's funny, because it's not spicy (it didn't have the least bit of spice in it). For the cost (more than soho sushi), I expect more... Otherwise, the noodle soup lunch special is awesome, the mayo salad dressing is delicious and the other sushi is pretty fresh and good. Would've given 4 stars if I didn't have today's mishap. If you want spicy shrimp rolls though, go to Soho Sushi. They do it right.

Don't order from them!!! They are very slow in delivery, but the most annoying thing is that they are NOT CANDID. I called them to verify my order 50 mins after I placed it, they replied in an unfriendly tone "What? Still not delivered? The delivery guy has come back twice from your area already. Go and ask your doorman! He may put it somewhere!" When I head down to the lobby, the funniest thing happened. I personally saw my order just delivered to the door man!!! While, for me, it is ok if an order is delayed due to heavy volume at peak time, but I really cannot tolerate cheating on customers!

This place has been around forever, but I've only recently started ordering food from here. I always order the Spicy Girl Roll and it is delicious! It's the perfect combination of flavors. I have never once had bad sushi from this place, it's always fresh. Plus, you can get any sushi or maki with brown rice, which I love. Their vegetarian sushi bento box is also excellent. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I wish there were more choices of rolls that you can order in the lunch specials section.

Everything we ordered was tasty, but I was especially impressed by the crispy salmon skin salad. I was worried that by the time it arrived it would be saturated in dressing and utterly soggy, but it definitely lived up to its name - crispy and delicious. We also loved the more unique sushi rolls - who knew peanuts and avocado went so well together?! Delivery was pretty prompt (said 15-30min - arrived at 32min), and everything that was supposed to be hot, was. All in all, I feel pretty confident this will be a frequent re-order.

overpromises on delivery time. I've waited an hr for the food to arrive even though delivery time is denoted at 15-30 min.
