Tenda Asian Bistro

Tenda has been our staple delivery sushi spot for about a year now. Great prices, great rolls, great appetizers. And occasionally they add in a little fruit tray with pineapple and oranges, which I love. Couldn't give 5 stars bc the memory of one of my delivery orders stands out. They forgot the wasabi and ginger?! Now how do you eat sushi without that? It only happened once.

I was a frequent customer of Tenda but after what happened this afternoon, NEVER AGAIN! I ordered the Beef Teriyaki bento lunch box, it came promptly which I was happy about. Upon opening the bag of food, I realised that they made a mistake by inserting soya sauce instead of the Ginger dressing for my salad. That's fine, I understand mistakes happen, I called them to send the right salad dressing over. When the delivery guy finally came with the salad dressing, he grumbles a lot at me, saying things like "I am very busy, don't call me again" "next time don't get me to deliver again!" "you should just call them and find somebody else". HELLO! Mind you! 1. This is not my fault but the restaurant. 2. I did NOT call you, I called the restaurant 3. I am the customer and I do tip for your service, I don't deserve this kind of treatment in return. Delivery boy, if you are indeed that reluctant to deliver the food, you SHOULD quit your job! The humiliation I felt at the lobby is unbearable and this would be the LAST time ever I am going to order from Tenda! It doesn't even deserve a star from me at all. GOODBYE, TENDA!

The food is good. I usually order maki lunch special or the nabi yaki udon. But their delivery has really been slacking lately. When they say 35-50 minute delivery time, it means well over an hour. I am still waiting with an empty stomach for my lunch. This is horrible when you order well in advance because you have a long meeting and would like to eat lunch well before. Tenda, you guys are really starting to irritate this regular customer...

Tenda is solid, reasonably priced sushi. The fish is fresh and the hot, kitchen food is above average. It's not my first choice for sushi, but I'm not disappointed when I get it, either.

I love Tenda; the food is great. I usually rely on this place when I want a good portion of non-breaded, non-fried protein with a side salad. My staples are the Chicken Satay and the Green Salad, which are both fantastic. Another tasty item is the Indian Pancake; the curry sauce is kind of garlic-buttery, which tastes amazing paired with the pancake. The prices are reasonable, as well as the portion sizes. This restaurant is definitely a favorite of mine.

Great experience with Tenda. The food was warm and delicious when I got them. Speedy delivery. Everything was carefully packed. Definitely will order again.

I not only got my order an hour after I placed the order, which I guess it's fine since they say up to 50 minutes although they are 10 minutes away, but I got the dish I ordered with shrimp instead of the chicken. Oh well I guess mistakes happen.

My go-to delivery food in Brooklyn Heights. Super fast delivery, usually within 15 mins! Try the Malaysian Flat-Rice noodle, fried rice and chicken and asparagus entrees.

Ordered the Pad Thai.. there was a lot of it and everything tasted fresh, but it didn't have much flavor. I put a ton of sriracha on it so it was fine, but I don't think I'll order from here again.

Excellent. Good rice. They did not have green tea as flavor for ice cream in the menu. I asked for it and ... Was granted. Perfect meal!

This place is the most consistently good sushi delivery in the area. Every time I try a different place for variety, I regret it. Definitely solid!

For delivery, I give this place 5 stars. When I order for 15+ people, they always get the order right and throw in extras like edamame and seaweed. And despite the large order, they are always on time. The food is great for delivery, but if I ate it at a restaurant, I would probably give it a 3.8.

Uhm, joke? ... delivery was supposed to be 35-50 minutes, it came 1 hour and 40 minutes later... The Pad Thai didnt taste anything even close to Pad Thai, they forgot a side dish and prepared my chicken soup with white ramen noodles (more then 50% of the content) instead of the selected buckweat noodles. not impressed, rather disappointed.

practically inedible. I got the pad thai and the shrimp were so awful I put one in my mouth and spit it out for fear I would have food poisoning if I swallowed it. I really wanted to like it but I just spent 20 bucks and need to order another meal. Don't do it to yourself. This hasn't been the first time they have sent me bad food either. I learned my lesson this time. :(
