The New St. Clair Restaurant

Do not order from here if you want to get what you ordered or be treated respectfully if you call them with an issue. The delivery guys don't read the Special Instructions and often get lost. When I called to ask what the issue was and complain that this happens frequently the Manager said - then please don't order from us and hung up on me. If Seamless wants to have partners that respect the customer, I'd suggest dropping this restaurant ASAP.

It had been a long time since I'd ordered from New St. Clair and after my most recent experience, I will never order from them again. Not only did they forget one out of three breakfast items I'd ordered, but they also failed to provide jam as requested and failed to provide more than one packet of ketchup. If the failures of packing my order weren't enough, their delivery was over 15 minutes late at a time when I was hurrying to leave my office, they tried to blame me for the lateness even though I spent quite a bit of time downstairs waiting for the delivery guy who I'd been told was already there. Then, to top it all off, when I called to complain about the delivery problems and the missing breakfast sandwich, they told me that I could either come to the restaurant to pick up my refund or come to the restaurant to pick up the missing sandwich! Their delivery and customer service is atrocious. The food itself was not worth the effort, as the "toasted" bagel was soggy and the remaining breakfast sandwich was both cold and soggy. Never, ever again.

New St. Claire is the best diner food I've had so far in NYC. Everything I've had on their menu is great. Their Lox omlette is fantastic. And their Bruschetta is out of this world. Also, the popeye salad is great.

Not sure if this is an offshoot of "The Old St. Clair," but if there's another restaurant that this one took its name from, it should be avoided, too. I ordered delivery and the food arrived on time, but the eggs were disgustingly soggy, the bagel was soaked through with butter, the potatoes were dry and the soda tasted like nail polish remover. Thanks for nothing, New St. Clair.

you know when you are SO excited for your meal, and you give very clear instructions on seamless to find they are completely ignored? i asked for my coffee black (came with cream and sugar), and asked for my bagel dry with cream cheese on the side (came with a HUGE pat of butter right on the bagel, no cream cheese at all). i NEVER submit reviews but these guys caught me on the wrong day at the wrong time!!!!! read your damn orders, it's your only job. #FAIL

Quick delivery and good food. My husband loves the burger and I get the gyro, they are both delicious! I also like the coleslaw and pickle it comes with, nice touch!

The food is pretty good for diner food, but beware. They will screw up your order and they will argue with you about fixing it.

We ordered a bacon cheese burger, and only received a burger. We called back and they said the kitchen was closed so they would just credit us for the price of a regular burger. They never did.

I used to like ordering waffles from this place, but now for the second time my Tropical Belgian Waffles came incomplete in ingredients and the whipped cream made it all in a blab... Don't ever crave my meal anymore. Also arrived later than promised. This place has always five stars from me till now. I wont order again.

I ordered, they confirmed and then NEVER delivered the food, when i called the guy who answered the phone said "I dont know what you want me to do, the guy left with the food" Terrible.
