The Organic Grill

Definitely for those who LOVE organic/vegan type food. I ordered the naked veggie burger. Didn't realize it wouldn't come on a bun. It really tastes like I'm eating dirt :( Thanksfully I ordered pesto with it which is very good. I normally love this type of food, but unfortunately the Organic Grill was a miss for me.

I really enjoy the tofu, especially the Chipotle tofu. Organic Grill gives you a lot of tofu for the price. However, I have ordered two different soups (split pea and miso) and they were terrible, particularly the miso. The service is also spotty - sometimes it is very fast and sometimes it is very, very slow. I called two separate to ask them about my order status and they said there was nothing they could do about it.

I ordered the Indecision Special...EXCELLENT decision on my part, thankyouverymuch. Whole wheat blueberry pancakes, tofu scramble and soy sausages made this doctor's-orders-health-conscious, first-time customer satisfied. Quick delivery, too. WIll definitely order again.

love it! everything is delicious! here's a tip: if you order salad with your sandwich, make SURE you get the "dressing on the side" or else your bread will be soggy.

I used to really like this place for the vegetarian options, but I have had multiple awful delivery experiences with them. The restaurant and delivery person both missed either my apartment or phone information on the form and many times deliver over 2 hours after I've placed the order. There are enough great restaurants in the East Village that they're no longer worth the hassle.

The food is ok. Love the non-egg salad sandwich. Sometimes it takes a long time to get here- 60-90 mins. The homes fries are a bit salty. Sometimes I order the vegan cookies and they never have it and then they send whatever they want and 90% of the time I don't like what they sen- macaroons in particular. I always worry about the tip. I feel strange not tipping the delivery person because I already included it in the online order. I always wonder if I should still give 'him' an extra tip or just not add the tip online and give it in person. But sometimes I don't have cash so I add it online. Do they open on Mondays? Not sure, tried ordering today and it won't go through. The white ice cream is yummy, the chocolate not so much. Service wise I have no complaints, I haven't called in an order, only seamless web. I would admit the sandwiches are sometimes all over the place, but am at home and I can make a mess. I do find it's a bit pricey and sometimes annoy myself by paying $25 a day for lunch.

Food, whatever. Service, bad. The sandwich was all over the place - not in one piece. Plus, I ordered sides with the sandwich as well as scrambled eggs, but NO UTENSILS were included in the bag, even though I specifically asked for them. Also NO NAPKINS were included. Had to use my freaking hands to eat the stuff because I was in the library studying for finals.

My food took over an hour to arrive when I ordered a salad and live five blocks away. I called to inquire on the whereabouts a few times and the person who answered was really unapologetic, saying they had a lot of orders come in at once, like it was my fault for ordering or something. When the salad did finally get to my place it was just okay. Not going to bother with this again. (Having worked in a restaurant answering phones, I know this is how NOT to treat your customers, ever.)
