Tiny Thai (3rd Ave)

The food here is consistently delicious. Pad see ew with tofu is my benchmark for quality at any Thai place. I've eaten a LOT of it and Tiny Thai's is the best I've had by far. The papaya salad and fresh sunny roll are great for a healthy-feeling contrast to the salty-deliciousness of the noodles. As a regular customer, I've found Tiny Thai consistently delivers in less than the predicted time. Only once did we have a problem with slow delivery when they were having an understaffed/overwhelmed night shortly after Hurricane Sandy. That was several months ago and there have been no more problems since.

I really like this place, the food is great and the delivery is fast. I have tried other thai places on upper east side, but always come back to this one. Their green curry is great as well as their pad thai, not too greasy and tastes great!

Like any asian cuisine, things that are meant to be eaten after cooking are generally "different" after sitting in a box for 30mins to 1 hr for delivery. They do a good reliable job w delivery, and in-restaurant you have to try a whole fish. At least once. Curry is not as thick as more authentic places but probably because of clientele preference. Ordering thai for delivery in other parts of this country should quickly remind one that this place is legit.

Food was good but they need to sort out their ordering process. Had to chase twice and it finally arrived 50 minutes late, warm... not good.... will be finding ourselves another Thai place to order from...

chicken massaman was very good - love the sauce over rice. spring rolls were totally below average - basically frozen. reasonable priced thai!

The yellow curry + thai iced tea is one of my go-to delivery meals when I'm feeling lazy. Delivery is usually quicker than estimated, food hot and delicious. I recently tried the pad thai as well, which was good. EDITED 1/21/13: I ordered the yellow curry lunch special, with curry puffs (mmm) and a thai iced tae - great deal for so much food. Delivery estimate was 45-60 min, but it arrived in 20 min. Awesome.

Delivery is consistently good from Tiny Thai. I highly recommend you check out the restaurant too since it is quite nice.

Good food, but delivery and takeout is usually a looooong wait. Don't ever walk in and order, unless its a really off time, or you will be there forever. Food is tasty though we get Tom yum soup, spicy basil noodles (which is pad kee Mao most other places) and pad Thai and they are always pretty good.

Best Thai food I've found on the Upper East Side. I've never had a problem with delivery, always around a half hour. I've tried many of the meals, and I'm very happy everytime!

This restaurant, once a personal favorite, is now dead to me. There was an issue with the timing of my order (aka, it didnt show up) and I spent 45 minutes calling them until someone finally picked up the phone and assured me it was "cancelled". We shall see if I am still charged for this ridiculousness. Tiny Thai, you're dead to me!
