Toloache Taqueria

Pretty good! As a native Californian, I know Mexican food. Toloache Taqueria had really solid flavor although is quite expensive. $15 for a burrito that is half the size of chipotle. Had the carne asada and green salsa. Steak was beautifully cooked and seasoned. Green salsa was good too... not as spicy as I would like but I'm a habanero kind of gal. Would order again and cross my fingers for some free chips :)

The only complaint I have about the food is that they should have more on the menu. This was my second order from Toloache and not only was it delicious but the food arrived within 15 minutes of order (not confirmation) and came with free chips and guac! The burrito de puerco was great and unlike many places their burrito is made to mix the flavors instead of a stale pile of separated ingredients. Viva la Toloache.

Delivery takes forever- over 50 minutes for three tacos. Food was cold. Very sad situation. I have ordered from Toloache several times and it is always late and cold.

Fantastic! I've been to the uptown Toloache, which is more of an upscale dining experience, a number of times and I have to say that this an excellent offspring. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood. You can't beat Toloache for upscale Mexican.

Food is pretty tasty, but inauthentic. It's not a real taqueria. Expensive for the very small portion size. If you order from here, order more food than you would normally think necessary.

The food is great and I've been eating here for a year, but the service is beyond terrible. I consistently have late delivery. Today, for example, the delivery window was 20-35 mins. At an hour, I tried calling and the number in the confirmation email is their fax number. I googled their actual number and it took several calls to get past the busy signal. After finally getting through, the woman asked if I could hold and left me there for almost 10 mins. I asked about my food and she responsed that they were very busy. when i mentioned the seamless delivery window, she said it was updated since to reflect the wait (I checked when we hung up and that was not the case). In any case, she put me on hold again to find out if it was even prepared...AN HOUR LATER. It turns out it was already out for delivery, but it is very disorganized. Like I said, the food is great, but don't bother getting delivery, it isn't worth the hassle or wait.

I usually love the food at this place but I was really disappointed with both the food and delivery time. My confirmation email stated 25-30 for delivery-well 1 hour 15 minutes later still no food! Once I finally got my order (3 tacos and a soup), all of it was cold. Not lukewarm, but cold. And the steak in the taco was completely burned. Super chewy and inedible. Did I mention that this meal cost $22?? Thoroughly disappointed.

I order here all the time, and this time, I was really disappointed. Ordered the veggie torta, guacamole without chips (because chips come with the torta), and a mexican iced tea. Got a call from someone who said that they're out of the iced tea, and they don't know how to reverse the charge (!). Food arrived sans chips. Tried calling repeatedly, but no answer.

This place is good but way overpriced for Mexican takeout. Spent $70 and was still hungry. They need to lower their prices...hint hint if you are reading this. Delivery at night is always slow(1hr+) and food shows up cold.

The food is probably better than this but it took 1:40 for the delivery on a stated window of 35-50 mins so, no surprise, the food was stone cold. I called at 1:10 after the order was placed and was told the food was "in the area". I'm not sure exactly what that means but clearly it doesn't mean the food will be delivered soon as it took another 30 mins. They didn't even offer an apology.

email order confirmation came through with 25 minutes estimated delivery and 2 hours later, the order still was not here. best of all, they wouldn't answer the phone. thanks for nothing!
