terrible. The food was old, seemed like it served off of a steam table where it had been sitting for hours. I had the pernil (a fav latin standard of mine), the meat was dry and lacked any seasoning, very bland. Moro rice was dried out, beans were disintegrating. All in all, it tasted like someone's leftovers. I ordered 3 empanadas, touted as featuring "beef, chicken, and cheese"...I wasn't sure if these were three different flavors or all in one, so I ordered three, figuring if they were different I would get one of each, as there was no choice option. I got 3 chicken emapnadas. They were cooked perfectly on the outside, but dry inside. I will never order from Tu Casa again, Pollos A la Brasa Mario on Broadway is a million times better.

I have ordered from Tu Casa an innumerable amount of times. The food is always fresh and delicious. My favorites are the chicken with rice and beans, yucca fritas, and entrana. The empanandas are good but a little lack luster. My only real qualm with Tu Casa is their stinginess with their best product: THE GREEN SAUCE. This is what gets me coming back over and over again, but every time we request more green sauce and even say, "HEY, WE WILL PAY YOU FOR MORE OF THIS AMAZING GREEN SAUCE," our requests are either ignored or unobserved. I highly recommend Tu Casa to any one looking for a decently priced, hot, reasonably healthy, and tasty meal. I HIGHLY recommend that Tu Casa itself, either honors its guest's requests or creates an option for us to purchase more green sauce.

Usually I like eating here as I am from Peruvian decent, but today I ordered a Lomo Saltado that typically comes with steak, onion, tomatoes and french fries all sauteed together. I saw there was an option to have it with Moro rice so I chose it. I did not know that they would leave out the french fries from the Lomos Saltado which no longer can be called that since it is a part of the recipe. I called and tried to find out why it was left out and was told to call seamless to get a refund, they were not helpful at all. Seamless was not able to refund me the money only give me a 20% discount. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat but now I think I will try the new peruvian restaurant that just opened in the neighborhood.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! We didn't even get to try the food. After two hours of waiting, calling the restaurant, being told that the food was out, that their was "confusion," and finally being yelled at for using seamless web, we told them to just keep the food, at which point they told us they couldn't refund our money, even thought they had promised to comp it. Ended up having to call seamless web to get the problem solved. We have never had an issue with this website before. Tu casa does nnot know what they are doing, and they prefer lying to their customers to providing service. Will never attempt to order from here again.

Mi casa es tu casa?? More like I love TU CASA en mi casa!! Ordered here online on a gloomy Sunday night hoping the food would hit the spot as I watched my sports. The menu selection is pretty typical of any of the other Peruvian joints in the area. I ordered the classic Rotisserie chicken (went for the whole instead of half w rice & beans, being that they were equal in price ($9)) and the Pernil con arroz moro (roasted pork w moro rice). 10 mins later, I get a call from a gentleman at the restaurant saying that they had run out of moro rice and that they would gladly substitute it with my choice of yellow or white rice and beans on the side. Minor setback, I thought. He was rather gracious and apologetic about the whole ordeal as I ended up going with the yellow. Now contrary to some of the other older reviews here, I had no problem communicating in English with the staff and the delivery came in about half an hour, which is average by my standards. I can only surmise that they have ramped up on the staffing and service side since their early days of opening. As far as the food is concerned, the chicken was ever so succulent and juicy and had a lil' kick to it from some kind of basic rub they must have used on the skin. I also have to agree that their green sauce was exceptionally good. Both the chicken and the sauce can hang with some of the best in the area. Let me just say that the quality was good enough that when I saved half in the fridge, only to microwave it the next day, much of the flavor was retained. The beans which were given as a courtesy were flavorful and complimented the yellow rice as well as any other could. The roast pork was up to par, although a little dry the next day. But then again, maybe it's because it was just THAT good fresh, right? In conclusion, I'm a satisfied customer in all regards delivery and I can't wait to try some of the other tasty sounding menu items in the weeks to come. Until then, hasta luego!

I used to order this all the time last year. Today it took an hour to arrive and the chicken soup came with chicken neck bones. Yuck! I also ordered moro rice and instead got a different rice. I still love the avocado salad - best salad dressing ever. But I am a little grossed out by the soup. Wont order from them again.

Twice in a row they forgot something in my order. I called to tell them and the lady said "we'll send someone with it right away". Never came. That's just not how you do business. I don't recommend

Food is ok, if you can get what your ordered, or anything at all on time! I used to enjoy ordering from here, but seems the service is just going downhill. Expect to waiting close to an hour and a half for your food to arrive. If they don't have what you ordered, sometimes the send you something else without asking. On my last order, I ordered a dish that comes with rice and fries, when I asked the manager why i didn't get fries, he told me that they sent me beans in the rice, when the menu doesn't even mention beans! and that if i wanted the fries i should have called! Again, the menu stated rice and fries. He also sounded very condescending about the fact that I would be wondering why I didn't receive what I ordered.

The delivery took over an hour which i wouldn't have minded if their food was decent. Soggy plantains, overcooked mushy rice and tasteless beans left me scouring my fridge for hot sauces to drown them in. The portions were way bigger than expected for the price, but all that means is i threw twice as much of it away. Ever been invited to dinner by a friend who can't cook? Bingo.
